Pros: Faxing, Printing, Performance, and Overall Copy Speeds are Excellent Cons: Scanning left something to be desired.
This All-in-One printer delivers versatility in a compact, flatbed design, a no-wait first page out, strong performance, and fairly good reliability from a trusted manufacture. We have used the HP LaserJet 3055 at the office for nearly 2 years ...

Pros: Laser-based, moderate price, quality hardware, no separate drum to buy Cons: Software and firmware on the device is buggy, tech support a time waster
Bought the printer/scanner/fax in March of 2008 for use with Windows Vista. Mind you, this is more than a year after Vista is out. E-mailed HP before buying to verify that all functions work in Vista. The AIO came and the hardware seemed solidly ...

Blatant betrayal of trust
by nomorejunk92 ,Jan 26 '09
Pros: Nothing compared to Brother, Xerox, Lexmark Cons: Sheetfeeder skews everything is feeds, which isn't much.
Don't expect the sheetfeeder to work and you will be fine.
Personally I need the sheetfeeder to work.
I'll never buy another HP printer.
I'll buy from a company that operates as if they have something to prove instead of a company relying on their "quality" hype campaign.

HP Offers No 64 Bit Driver for the Scanner Function
by honolulueast ,Oct 14 '09
Pros: Prints and copies. Scans with 32 bit system. Cons: Copying deteriorates with time. Scanning needs improvment. Does not scan on a 64 bit ystem.
If you want to print with a 64 bit computer, that's fine. If you want to scan, you're out of luck because HP won't support it.
As a printer, it worked great with my 32 bit computer. The scanning function on a 32 bit system was less than perfect, in so far as it shrunk the image by about a quarter inch on each side, and was not very clear no matter how I adjusted the resolution. My previous Samsung all-in-one did a much better job scanning.
Copying was acceptable. The document feeder on the top feeds crooked sometimes. A year later, it is not catching all the detail when I photocopy maps.
