Pros: Great performance, widescreen, 64-bit CPU, speakers, card reader, video card, etc! Cons: Essentially no cons!
Background: I've had four different laptops from HP/Compaq in the past few years, and I've had gripes/problems with almost all of them. But after using this HP Pavilion zv6000 for the past few months, I'm nothing but satisfied--this is GREAT! ...
Pros: Nice assortment of ports; dependable, and good performance for a single processor Windows XP notebook Cons: No software driver upgrade path; no XP Pro x64, Vista, or Dual-core driver support.
I have been using this notebook for two years now, and am basically happy with it, but not with HP's lack of support for any future upgrades, including no x64, Vista, or dual-core compatible drivers. After extensive research in 2005, I purchased this ...

I hesitate to write a review after only a week of ownership given all of the things that can go wrong, but when I was shopping, I found that little had been written about it, so for all of you contemplating a purchase, this is for you. First I will say ...
Pros: DVD burner, multiple USB ports, large monitor, great battery power Cons: Plastic hinges, no bluetooth, excess heat
I have noticed that there are a lot of people that write reviews when they first purchase a product, and not months later when the product has been fully tested. So I am here to write a review after having this laptop for 3 years. I bought the original ...
Pros: Good laptop until it fails in 1 or 2 years Cons: Soddy hinge design leading to premature failure
Maybe the thought of people attempting to keep a laptop for more than the warranty period is a little unpleasant to HP. I bought the ZV6000 just over two years ago. It came with everything we needed at a very good price at the time. Then the hinge ...
HP Pavilion zv6000 Wide Screen by FXLR187 ,Aug 22 '07
Pros: Great Screen, very fast processor. Cons: Not too many!!
Previous to this laptop I had a Dell 5150 which I was not very satisfied with, but it served the purpose. However, once I got the HP ZV6000 It blew the dell away!! Internal Wireless card is second to none! The bright Wide Screen is tremendous. I use this laptop for work when I travel or when I transfer files from work to home. I easily log onto my work network and them my home and it does not miss a beat! It has a large hard drive, the system is very snappy. Next I switch to parent mode and when taking a long drive, I let the kids use it to watch movies! The DVD is flawless!!! No lags or or large use of power! The battery life will run for a bout 2 and half full length movies, or about 4-5 hours of work related use, (word or excel). Over all I would highly recommend this system to the average working parent or student. I'm not much of a gamer, but my son installed a few games and it work great, good graphics and very quick!!
