Great TV
by markmizzou ,Jan 19 '06
Pros: PICTURE - Picture- PICTURE Cons: Remote Programming issues with Dish net and my Yamaha AV-NO HP SUPPORT HERE
I bought this TV from Data Vision through EBAY a couple of weeks ago -- I continue to be impressed by it every day! Here's the kicker -- I have not yet seen it perform in HD. This is one sweet set. I am ordering a over the air HD antenna soon, so I should be more impressed. Right now my reception is from Dish net--and the picture is fantastic.
DVD movies have been even better.
Many may not know, but this box is made by Sharp, and when you walk into most stores, the Sharps and the Sonys are the best pictures. I could not find one of these HP's to look at in person, so I took a leap of faith, and so far it has been a pleasant landing! The unit has only been out since Sep 05, so there are not a lot of them to look at. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. Data Vision is a safe place to buy from as well! If a 2nd choice (higher price) -- Vanns.com

HP LC3200 - the best of the bunch
by duraflex ,Jun 05 '06
Pros: Superior picture quality in HDTV, very good SDTV. Widest variety of inputs. Built in tuners. Cons: Pricey for 32 inch picture. Limited availability.
What distinguishes the HP LC3200 is the clarity of the picture.
In several side by side comparisons with Sharp, Olevia and Sony , the HP topped them all. It cleaned up the incoming HD signal better than the rest and the picture looked the most natural.
NTSC, ASTC, QAM and cable card capability.
SDTV looked better than on most other sets - exceeded only by Philips/Magnavox.
It has IEEE394 inputs as well as HDMI and DVI.
Sound quality with supplied detachable speakers is very good - much better than most.
