Pros: Inexpensive, works well if you never make mistakes. No worries about color cartridges. Cons: Mocks you when you try to cancel jobs. No easy way to print double-sided.

Print job hangs if out of paper

Pros: Cheap. Cons: Print job hangs if out of paper.
I have been using an HP P1005 in my office for 1 month. It is almost impossible to delete a print job. It the paper is finished while you are printing, you are in real trouble. Because after adding paper you cannot recover or delete the print job. You often have to restart your computer. I don't recommend buying an HP P1005.
