Pros: User Friendly, Cost effective, good overall value, small size Cons: Some Jamming, cheap looking in some respects.
I wish I could say "Anyone" looking to purchase inexpensive basic laser printer should look no further, but I was surprised to find out that the HP 1018 LaserJet is not Mac Compatible. Nevertheless, at under $100 I couldn't pass up the ...
Pros: RELIABLE, low-maintenance, fast, inexpensive, toner cartridges last forever, small and compact Cons: None in my opinion!
After numerous bad experiences with inkjet printers, I decided that all the trouble and expense was not worth the pretty colors and went with laser type for my most recent printer instead. I'm a student whose main concern is for my printer to be able ...
Pros: Fast, reasonably quiet, great deal for the money Cons: Doesn't have a re-set the print job button. Very unsatisfactory rebate experience with Hewlett-Packard.
I decided to get this laserjet after reading negative reviews of starter units of other companies. This unit didn't have the specs (specifically, the speed) that other units did, but after using an inkjet all my life, its 12 pages per minute seem ...
Pros: quiet, fast, inexpensive, small, easy to use, holds reasonable amount of paper Cons: Price of toner cartridge and cable must be purchased separately
I used the HP 1018 in my office at work. We had recently purchased this printer for it's low price of $129.99 and claimed durability. This is a small printer so it doesn't take up too much desk space, but it can print just as well as the ...
Pros: Price accessible, Fast Printer. Cons: Paper holder for output paper seems a little shaky.
I have owned this printer for almost one week now and I can tell this is a fast printer. The printer comes with one toner cartridge, power cord, printer, Installation CD and installation Manual. This printer like most printers nowadays do not come ...
Pros: Fast and reliable. Takes up less space. Price is good, too. Cons: You have to fill up the paper tray frequently.
I'm a system admin in our company. Our office uses a variety of printers, mainly HPs and some Samsung printers. This one was the last addition that was bought about 6 months ago. Between Samsung ML2010 and this model, I chose this one. The reason was ...
Pros: easy to smooth to use; small body Cons: limited specs, e.g. no double-side printing
Price: I got this printer during a holiday sale and was very happy with the price after the manufacturer's rebate. Easy to get started: Although I have used many other printers both at school and at work before, this is my first home printer so it ...
The truth behind this printer. by floyd0ff1968 ,Jul 07 '09
Pros: I would certainly recommend HP product and would like to buy it from them. Cons: Trust only the best for after sales treatment.
Well I purchased this printer from a retail dealer in my country and used it for the past 4 years and offcourse has some problems like paper jamming and not printing but all I had to do is get online with a online tech and bingo my problem was solved in a jiffy. i like that the most, you get a good after sales treatment from HP. You can also get additional help by talking to the company about your problem and also get advice from them if you need to go in for some other product from HP.
Excellent consumer laser printer by rbuchanan ,Jun 16 '09
Pros: Fast, quiet, produces quality text and graphics, toner cartridge has a long lifespan Cons: None that I'm aware of
When I purchased this, I needed a printer that was fast and silent, which yielded quality output. The LaserJet 1018 has satisfied all of my requirements: it prints quickly and quietly; text and black & white or grayscale graphics alike are produced with sharp, clear resolution.
The 1018's design is compact, which preserves valuable desktop real estate. Installation is fast and comprehensive, aided by the plug-and-play USB interface.
If you're looking for an affordable, reliable laser printer, this is the one. I'll never use an inkjet printer again if I can help it.

The best Printer Ever Owned by kennyyeung2001 ,Dec 27 '07
Pros: Easy Setup
Fast warm-up Cons: None.
I have this printer for about 6 months by now. What I like the most is the time it takes to warm - technically take zero time. Just plug-in & print your document. The printouts are on your printer already. Not to mention that I got this printer basically for as little as $15.00 after the promotion rebate.
