Pros: Sleek, easy to use design Cons: Doesn't come with USB cable
Its been a while since I received my Secret Santa gift but time hasnt erased how pleased I was when it arrived on New Years Eve just as I was about to leave the house to ring in the New Year with some very dear friends. There he was, my ...
Pros: Available for a low cost, good photo printing quality. Cons: Bluish exterior. Screen is small; nice to have, anyway. Paper input tray quality is lacking.
It used to be that HP was the last word in printers. Now they have serious competition in the photo-quality inkjet printer arena by the likes of Lexmark, Canon, and Epson. However, for a mid-grade printer, the HP 7760 is a terrific choice. My review ...
Pros: Prints not bad. The price is alot lower then when I purchased. Cons: Failed to operate 1 year in with little use.
This is the third hp printer I have purchased. It will be the last. I had this printer for 1 year and 8 days and it sits on top of the other hp Photosmart printers that also failed within a year. I purchased this unit at Walmart for $179.00 because my ...
Pros: Good photo quality, fair price, no smudges on paper, good technical help. Cons: Consumes ink, expensive cartridges, no USB cable included, loud economy printing.
We had previously a Brother MFC 3420 which died about 3-4 months after we bought it, and needed to find another printer. We had heard a lot about the HPs and decided to give this one a try. We liked it right away and the price was right. Although the ...
Pros: Easy to use with lots of ways to get your photos on it. Cons: Quit working shortly after year long warranty ended.
Initially, I was very impressed with my HP Photosmart 7760. I bought it when it was being discontinued so got what I felt was a good deal on it. Though I rarely use it, the fact that it has an LCD screen really raises its coefficient of "Neat-O." I ...
Pros: Great Pictures, Not too technical and hard to use Cons: Small Screen, Does not handle paper well. Eats and Eats ink
For the price, this photo printer isn't bad...I was looking for a printer that could produce great pictures and handle other everyday printing. It does work well with handling my everyday print jobs, but the major problem I've had is with the ...
Pros: Fast Tech. Support, 24/7 Cons: Drivers don't work properly, lots of problems using it.
This is the 4 photosmart printer I've had and it will be my last. I've had this thing 4 days and have yet to print a page! The drivers won't install and I keep getting file missing errors. Tech support sent me some patches to fix these issues, now I keep getting a message that it is out of paper. Tech support advised me that the wheels needed to be cleaned! It hasn't even printed a page yet and needs to be cleaned?? I am taking it back to staples tomorrow and purchasing something else.
Pros: Nice pictures when it works! Cons: More than I can type in 15 words!!!!!!!!!!
This machine is wonderful until the cartridges fail! You buy new ones and the same message keeps coming up! You might as well throw it away and buy a new one when the message "cartridge failure" comes up because "the fat lady has sung" for that printer!!!!! It has happened to me with 3 HP's now and I am done with them!!!
Another poorly functioning printer by jambc ,Jun 01 '05
Pros: Easy to use; can plug cartridges directly into printer; good print quality Cons: Print cartridges keep failing. Online "live" help is not a help.
We bought this printer because a friend recommended it, and they've had great luck. I can't say the same for us. I've printed maybe 2 pictures and 10 pages on it in the past year. We've had problem after problem with the print cartridges. Online help was far from "help", and somehow keeps going back to telling us that the cartridges are defective - I disagree considering we've been through 2 tri-color cartridges and 2 photo cartridges and haven't even used the printer. It's incredibly frustrating that we can't use the printer we bought, and we hardly even use it. Don't use the online "live" help, as it will give you hours of frustration, and will lead to nowhere. We're just going to go buy another printer.
Pros: worked great for a few months Cons: Cartridge failure
I seem to have the same issue as most people do with this printer... It worked great until the cartridge failure message started... Now my black will not work at all and I've spent more money on a replacement that gives the same error...

On one of the other Reviews the Reviewer said that they had trouble with the DRIVERS!!! NO WAY!!! IF you are running XP Home or Pro. Maybe they were using Win3.1 or 95 or some other "OLD" OP. System! IF you want to use a Modern Photo-Printer, Use a Modern OP. (operating) System on your Computer!

GREAT PHOTOS & PRINTING THAT'S EASY TO USE!!! GREAT PRICE!!! "WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED"
Pros: Quality photo prints; fast printing; ability to take my camera's memory card. Cons: Paper jams; difficult 4x6 paper loading; variable color results; end of functionality.
I bought this printer in 2005 to print pictures in the family genealogy book I was putting together for each member of my family; also for it's ability to take my camera's memory card, which enabled me to review my photos on my computer's monitor. It did great job, but little by little it began to have a problem here and there. The most annoying was the paper jams, then the printer heads becoming stuck. Then it seemed the print quality began to go downhill, no matter what type of paper I used or how many new cartridges I put in. Now It prints as though it were a poor quality matrix dot printer, no matter how many times I clean the heads. Looks like it's time to look for something new, though the reviews I read on other printers are less than encouraging. Be sure to read them if you're in the market - they tell you things the manufacturer nor the "professional" reviews disclose.
