Pros: Size. Picture Quality. Even better with my new HP computer. Cons: Software. The built in Speakers.

The bigger brother to the w2007 and the monitor that I ended up keeping for my home use. This 22 inch monitor with it's bright view screen, 5ms response time, and 1000:1 contrast ratio this monitor produces gorgeous imagery. However this ...
Pros: So many. Read below. Cons: Requires more space than you think, pedestal not sufficiently weighted, glossy screen causes glare
I recently purchased an HP w2207 wide-screen flat panel monitor as a little gift to myself. I have to say, if not for some relatively minor flaws, this monitor would be a perfect 10. Screen: The screen is big and bright and beautiful. The ...
I have a mid to high end computer that I use for gaming. Having had a 19" Samsung, I think it was time for me to upgrade to a decent 22" that can do 1680x1050 in games. I picked this monitor up off TigerDirect.com for around $250.00, after looking at ...
Pros: EXCELLENT value and PORTRAIT MODE
is GREAT if you can get proper software Cons: u will get used to the Big Easy seductive comfort
i got bad eyes, thanks to crt s. last year, as my eyes were melting went to check out the batch of 17 and 19 inch LCD screens to attach to my xp machine. most were cheap and big brand names, BUT. only a few were sharp enough or colors good ...
Pros: Brilliant, clear, bright, beautiful to look at and big Cons: Somewhat unstable with a rotating disk and unremovable advertising on the bottom of the stand.
I'm going to date myself here. I've been using computers since they had little one line displays with less than a sentence's worth of characters. I went through the green text era followed by amber text, which was a big improvement - easier on the eyes. ...
Pros: Looks amazing turned ON or turned OFF Operates silently (no electricity buzz) Very adjustable Cons: Quality of LCD panel varies greatly unit-to-unit.
At work there are many brands of basic mainstream TN panel LCD monitors in use including a glossy Dell, but the HP W2207h beats them all. At home the W2207h is my main family use monitor. My copy of the W2207h was manufactured in ...
Pros: Exceptional 22" LCD monitor. Cons: Glare type screen and 1" glossy frame perimeter.
HP has dominated the printer market and their success with monitors was unknown until I read the Epinion reviews. After checking out the market thoroughly I agree the HP w2207h monitor is the best in this price range. The picture is very good and it is ...
Pros: Great color, brightness, contrast, large size, built in speakers, text looks just right, handsome looks Cons: Not a lot of flash, a lot of dust collects under the bezel
All around great monitor, nothing spectacular, but my personal choice for personal use. Text looks very good, doesn't bother my eyes at all. The screen is big, and still seems very large to me, even after years of use. The design is solid and ...
Pros: Best adjustable arm. Built-in USB hub. Great picture quality. Attractive. Cons: Glossy screen. Takes about 5 seconds to come out of power sleep.
Our new desk is pretty high, and we needed a monitor that could be lowered almost all the way to the desk level. I've searched far and wide, and this HP monitor was the only 22" display that could adjust to sit just half an inch above the desk ...
The best & literally with a twist by kojak45 ,Feb 12 '09
Pros: It is a very sleek excellant monitor. The HP 22 wide will go along way. Cons: the only thing is that it can't be placed on the wall.
This is a very attractive monitor it is a sleek black in color with a tray underneath for all your small office supplies. When I say with a twist you can raise it up and turn it sideways like reading a email or say if you have a small place to sit it. It is a very good monitor to work with and the display setting the control panel will let you make the changes that is needed to be able to rotate it to the side in wich you need to view it. It also has 2 usb ports on the left hand side to plug in different things that are needed up on top of your desk. It is not one of those that can be removed from the base to attach it to the wall. It is very bright and also has custom settings on it to make it easier on the eyes. It has 12 different resolutions to make the changes as needed to best suit your needs. It is also a HP 22 wide monitor that I replaced from a Acer 19" flat panel monitor.
Pros: Linux compatible, great screen clarity, fun extras (monitor pivot), good color saturation. Cons: Calibrated a little bright on the auto setting, a couple stuck pixels.
As a computer programmer, I'm very picky about my monitors, and I'm very happy with this one. After years of service from my 19" CRT, I finally had to get a new LCD. I couldn't buy a monitor online, because you can't get a feel for what the screen looks like from specs. I could have picked this monitor from across the room! It stood out from the crowd, and on closer inspection, it still held up. The one thing I look for in a monitor, after a series of cruddy ones at work, is text clarity. If the text is fuzzy on the screen, I keep walking. This monitor had the best clarity in the store, and once I got it home and hooked up the DVI (I didn't bother with the VGA), it looked as good as it did in the store.
So keep your response times, brightness and contrast ratios. If the screen looks good, get it.
