Pros: A Classic for any Christian Library
    Cons: Wished it was longer

Summary: This is a wonderful allegory that I recommend to anyone. The simple thing to take from this story is that no matter where you are on your journey that we all have something that we are afraid of and that only by depending upon Jesus can we overcome. ... read more

Pros: Incredible allegory of our spiritual journey. Reminds me of the poem Foot Prints.
Cons: Getting past character names. Better with second read.

Summary: Once I got into this book I was awed that it detailed our spiritual journey in such beautiful ways. The names of the characters, though hard to keep straight at first, are dead on. Aren't we all members of the Fearing family? Don't those other Fearing ... read more

Pros: may help if you are feeling like giving up
Cons: hard to connect with the main character

Summary: This is a book I really couldn't get into. In fact I stopped reading it and gave it to my daughter. She did not like it either. The concept is a good one. It is about depending on God to help us overcome our weakness. I understand ... read more

Summary: This is a "must have" book for every library. The story is written as an allegory. It tells a tale of little "Much Afraid". She wants to follow her Lord but is "much afraid". The story tells the tale of both Much Afraid ... read more

Pros: Motivates you to sell out to the Shepherd.
Cons: you must be able to catch all the spiritual applications of the allegory in order to thoroughly enjoy the story.

Summary: The author has obviously walked with the Shepherd! She has insight into the relationship between Jesus and His elect whom He calls to higher places in Him. Hinds Feet in High Places is a wonderful allegory of a woman who desires to surmount ... read more
