Pros: Puts quite a bit of heat right where you want it. Very light and portable.
Cons: It's kind of addictive.

Pros: Effective, durable, safe, long life if cared for properly.
Cons: Lightweight and can be easily knocked over.
Summary: I've had my Holmes ceramic for over 6 years and it's a little workhorse. It can heat an entire room easily, and I feel much safer using this one than any other kind of space heater. The only problem I can think of is that this is a very lightweight
