this is a great fan. i bought it about 4 years ago and it still works like the day i bought it. in my office i make a huge gust of wind on high. Last month my air conditioner broke so i brought from my office and put it in my room. It made my room feel just like when the ac was working The bottom line is that this is a great fan for a small price. but you have to be careful about where to buy it because i saw it at other places for 40 dollars. for me office depot had the greatest price.

I recently bought the table fan at my local walmart store, and went home to try it out. i plugged it into the wall and set it to 1, it was a very cold breeze and i enjoyed it but the wind doesn't slow down much at all. i live in a room where it is hot so i keep the fan on and it supplies me with enough air to survive! i recommend this product for people who suffer sweating or being hot.

Pros: The oscillating blade cover is good for spreading air flow.
Cons: Noise is tough to tolerate.

This starts up quiet but after a few minutes, develops an annoying high pitch vibrational noise that keeps one awake at night. Repositioning it will initially quiet it down, but after a few minutes, the noise inevitably returns. It's probably worth extra money to buy something of better quality.
