Pros: Loud but worked fine in the beginning, great heat source.
Cons: Customer service really is very poor.

First of all we purchase 2 of these because of the great reviews. One was purchased, we liked it so a month later we purchased another one. These heaters worked fine for a total of 5 months. We didn't use it often only when we needed a little help, as we have an older home that tends to be drafty when it's cold and the wind is strong.

Well one day we discovered one element didn't function anymore so we thought it must have been a defect and didn't pay much mind because we had the other. About a week later one of the elements went out on that one too.

I emailed their customer service about the problem and didn't receive the courtesy of a "canned" reply back.

One element wears out of the two in a short time. 2 Units were purchased at 2 different stores and 2 different times so what's the odds of us being that lucky? Their customer service is extremely poor!

Don't, repeat, Do Not Consider buying this product!

Pros: Fast heat
Cons: Startup noise

This heater is very fast to emit heat. It does make a little racket when it is initially turned on due to the quartz elements. Once they are fully heated and red hot the noise level is very low. People like to stand in front of the unit to warm their legs when they come in from the cold. I have seen some other brands recently which also feature a humidifier. I am not sure if this feature is worthwhile as adding humidity can make a room feel colder.
