I bought the sbm-200H for my wife a year ago, but I have used it more than her. I tried a demo in the store and loved it. I bought it on the spot. The massage is agressive, but we need that for some of the knotted muscles in our backs. Shiatsu or deep tissue massage can be somewhat painful by nature because it takes some deep pressure and kneeding to release muscle knots. My advice is try before you buy, but go through a whole 15 minute cycle before you make a hasty decision.  Noise level is reasonable. Heat feature is helpful. The unit quit on me after a year of use. I sent it with receipt to Homedics in Michigan and received a brand new unit in 2 weeks so they stand by their generous 2 year warranty. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't get the area between the shoulders well. But overall, it does an excellent job.

Was given this item as a gift. Took it out of the box, removed the screw from the back as instructed by the manual, and plugged it in. Ran great for about two minutes until I pushed the "Demo" button. Heard a click and the machine quit. Couldn't get it to run again. I wouldn't waste the $100 bucks on this machine. It's a prime example of cheap manufacturing.

I purchased this product.  I have have used many similiar products.  However the entinsity of the roller will bruise you.  I tired to return it to the company but they said they would only replace it with the same product.  I would never buy any of their products in the future.  Very Very dis-satisfied.
