Pros: SUV on Odyssey body Cons: REALLY only room for FOUR people comfortably!!!!(no matter what they say..read on) The Bottom Line: REALLY only room for FOUR adult-size people comfortably!!!!(no matter what they say..read on)
I was looking forward to test driving this new car. I had seen the brochures and was waiting for it to arrive at the dealership. When I finallly got in and drove it, I was thinking, not bad, not bad.
However, when we got back to the dealer and...

Pros: luxury yet rugged , great handling Cons: expensive, bad gas mileage The Bottom Line: dont buy men its a girly ride
The Honda Pilot, what to say about it. Good car to the naked eye. Sure its cute and looks real sleek but honostly it is not really all that good of a buy.
Okay first the price is real high for a car you could easily find in a different make. My...

Pros: Handling, Wind stablity, Resale Cons: Other than the above, this is just average. Hum drum The Bottom Line: I like the explorer, highlander and mdx better. Acura dealers seem more freindly and careing and the ford is better for familys. Highlander is perfect for mature couples
We had a 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Baure with 112K. We had just started looking for our odyssey van and decided to start looking at replacing the explorer as well. We drove a new explorer first, but after owning 5 of them and a jeep grand cherokee, we ...

Pros: Handling, Ride, Gas Mileage, Power, Rear Seat Cons: Problems with Honda North America, Horrible Seats, Horrible Dash Layout The Bottom Line: Its a nice suv, but its over priced and its dealer and corperate network are to corrupt for words
We decided to buy an 03 pilot and an 03 explorer, both in november 2002..We liked them both and because we needed to cars, we decided to splurge and buy both..We traded a 96 Explorer and a 96 Accord for them (the accord for the pilot and the explorer for ...

Pros: Quiet, comfortable ride. Safe. Large cargo area. Cons: Horrible radio/sound even in EX. Steering too_light. Saggy leather seats. Uninspiring handling. Expensive maintenance schedule. The Bottom Line: Buy a Toyota Highlander.
My pilot is only 2 weeks old and I am still not sure if I like it or not. I bought it for the following reasons: larger family, all the rave reviews, my friend told me he loved it, and because of supposedly good Honda quality. Cons: I did test drive i ...

Pros: GAS MILEAGE / CARGO ROOM HANDLING/ RELIABILITY BEING A HONDA Cons: BODY STYLE IS VERY BASIC AND SUSPENSION IS NOT VERY GOOD FOR A SUV
The Bottom Line: If looking for a moderatly priced, fuel-efficient, japanese suv look elsewhere. better off buying the Hyundai Santa Fe which is cheaper and even sportier looking(CANT BEAT WARRANTY EITHER)
Honda coninues to be a solid car to buy no matter what type of automobile. Yet I for one am not to impressed with the boring body style of the pilot. It looks like many other competing japanese suvs but underperforms them as well as American suvs. The...

Pros: Price, Standard amenities, Easy to drive. Cons: Ho-hum styling, Third row seating should match the quality of the 2nd row. The Bottom Line: Better than the Passport, but still could use some major improvements.
When Honda first introduced the Passport (better known as the Izuzu Rodeo) back in late 1993, Honda showed that they were not exactly the most competent company when it came to making quality built mid-sized SUVs. While the Passport offered adequate ...

Pros: 3rd Row seating, DVD System, Honda Reliability Cons: Handling, Seats, Looks, Interior Space, Build Quality. The Bottom Line: If must have a Honda suv, get an MDX. There about the same as far as price goes.
First Impression:
I drove this on a test drive. I wanted to compare it to my explorer. The one I drove was a loaded out EX with DVD system. The black paint had multipule scratches and wasn't as glossy as I would have expected. Plus the exterior had...

Pros: Drives Nicely Cons: Makes a noise and inflicts vibrations on fuel system The Bottom Line: Honda has to fix their problems before assuring it customer a quality product.
The Vehicle presents a loud noise and vibration on the gas tank when the fuel level is between 50 to 85% full.
I brought up the issue to Honda soon after I purchased the vehicle. Honda replied in writing that the problem is normal.

Pros: Nice looking, roomy great seating and interior layout Cons: Not really powerful, not really a SUB The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a heavy duty SUV, look elsewhere, If you want a nice people hauler with all wheel drive, and don't mind overpaying for it, go ahead.
Really nice and comfortable and roomy vehicle. But this is another SUV wanna be. Here's why:
I was interested in the Honda Pilot, but ultimately decided not to buy it. It was the strange way they rated towing capacity that turned me off....

Pros: The Saftey record is very good for this SUV Cons: Seats not confortable, Steering is not the best. The Bottom Line: If you are a skiier steer away. If you want a "family adventure vehicle" and don't care getting not much for alot then get it.
When I first saw this vehicle under SUV, At epinions.com I laughed. This car is far from a suv, Honda does not really even consider it a SUV they titled it "A family adventure vehicle". First of all Although this vechicle is a descent car It should...

Pros: Passenger and cargo space, interior style, flat cornering, value Cons: Vague steering, front seats lack contour, gear selector often blocked The Bottom Line: A stylish, roomy, and versatile interior makes this the best choice for many SUV buyers. For those who prefer sharp handling, Honda still has some work to do.
The Japanese were slow to react to the rapid growth in SUV sales, but now that they have they are offering a number of excellent products. Honda was especially slow to develop trucks, and especially large trucks, but for the 2003 model year it is ...

Pros: Gas Mileage.
Insurance Costs Low.
U-turns.
3rd row seats for kids. Cons: Handling(loose steering).
Height of the car(definitely need sidestep). The Bottom Line: It's a great SUV, especially if you are cost-conscious.
If you have owned a Nissan Pathfinder before, you may not like it as much on the handling.
The 2003 Honda Pilot is a great SUV for first time SUV drivers. Though for some that have driven SUV's before, it lacks a few things that older SUV's have and also has some good points. The first good point is the Insurance. Having great ...

Pros: Roomy, Solid Ride, Lots of Features, Honda Quality Cons: Lacks memory seating, Dealer Mark-up The Bottom Line: An excellent SUV overall, but lacking in just a few small areas. Dealer pricing pushes the price over $40k on loaded models - it's not worth that much.
With the introduction of the new Pilot SUV, Honda has again shown that they have no desire to be first, just the best. Honda was certainly not the first Japanese automaker to bring cars to the U.S., nor were they the first to build a car based...

Pros: Low emissions, room for 7, good mpg,
honda reliability, intelligent design. Cons: needs sliding second row The Bottom Line: Great family vehicle that redefines the SUV and Minivan
categories. I would recommend it to anyone.
I checked every expert review, read thousands of consumer
posts, test drove this and other vehicles before putting
a down payment on the Pilot. It is the best SUV/Minivan/stationwagon crossover there is.
The interior is spacious and well...
