Pros: Its a HONDA-90,000 miles and we still love it. Cons: The front seats are a little tight if you are wide of rear like me! The Bottom Line: Ownership for 6 years and 190,000 miles means we love it and are going to hang on for another 190,000.
After our 1997 Chrysler T & C Minivan started needing repairs every month we went new car shopping. Looked at Suburban,(too big, too thirsty), Expedition (same), Envoy XL (why buy a stretch ?) and Highlander (too small) We settled on the Pilot. Now ...

Pros: Fuel economy, Navigation, Reliability, and Comfort. Cons: Expensive, no MP3 option, Navi upgrade too expensive. The Bottom Line: If you see one for a good price, run don't walk.
When our old minivan needed to go we were shocked at the price of a new one. We also like having three seats across the middle row for kids and wanted all-wheel drive. Most new Vans do not have AWD so they can have seating that disappears into the floor. ...

Pros: Best SUV Value on the market Cons: Tires are lame, need's 17's or 18's The Bottom Line: Great value, needs just a few annoyingly absent creature comforts to be perfect.
OK, 1 1/2 years now and still loving it. I decided to get a CRV as our second car instead of another pilot. I just don't need as much room. The Pilot is the family car and we couldn't be happier. NO PROBLEMS of any sort. As with most Honda's, the ...

Pros: The Saftey record is very good for this SUV Cons: Seats not confortable, Steering is not the best. The Bottom Line: If you are a skiier steer away. If you want a "family adventure vehicle" and don't care getting not much for alot then get it.
When I first saw this vehicle under SUV, At epinions.com I laughed. This car is far from a suv, Honda does not really even consider it a SUV they titled it "A family adventure vehicle". First of all Although this vechicle is a descent car It should...

Pros: Powerful V6 240hp engine, comfortable cabin, nice and easy handling, super cold air conditioning! Cons: "NON" negotiating dealer's,spare size tire should be larger, the headlights should be Xenon. The Bottom Line: If you want a s.u.v that is capable of doing what ever you want to do;than the Pilot should be your choice!
I bought my Honda Pilot for MSRP in Detroit.Caution if you are planning to purchase the Pilot don't pay more than MSRP;I had to shop around to get mine for MSRP.In Detroit this S.U.V is very popular so all the dealer's are trying to make money by...

Pros: Indestructable. high quality, 21 miles on a gallon , fits 8 ( 5 very comfortble) Cons: mediocre styling The Bottom Line: if this pilot is an example of honda quality I am now a honda man.
This is the first car I ever bought based upon written reviews and friends testimonials about the reliability of Honda. I have 154.000 miles on it - original exhaust in place - 2 cars have been totaled by ramming me in the rear with hardly a scratch on ...

Pros: Gas Mileage.
Insurance Costs Low.
U-turns.
3rd row seats for kids. Cons: Handling(loose steering).
Height of the car(definitely need sidestep). The Bottom Line: It's a great SUV, especially if you are cost-conscious.
If you have owned a Nissan Pathfinder before, you may not like it as much on the handling.
The 2003 Honda Pilot is a great SUV for first time SUV drivers. Though for some that have driven SUV's before, it lacks a few things that older SUV's have and also has some good points. The first good point is the Insurance. Having great ...

Pros: Great Standard features, competitive pricing to comparable SUV's. Cons: Not very stylish, a little stiff driving. The Bottom Line: In this over-priced auto world, the $31,750 leather equipped Honda Pilot is a great value.
I have been leasing the Honda Pilot for almost 10 months now and the more I use it, the more I like it. I was going to originally lease the Acura MDX but, at 6'4" and 235lbs., I was not very comfortable in the front seat. Acura makes a great SUV but, you ...

Pros: Large, stable and well powered with the reliability of a Honda! Cons: None yet! The Bottom Line: The power of a monster truck with the reliability that screams Honda!
Recently I had the chance to drive the much heralded Honda Pilot that takes it's place in Honda's stable on SUVs at the top of the food chain. Boasting 240 horses (as compared to the 160 of the CRV and 205 of the Passport) the Pilot fills the niche of a...

Pros: Large Cargo Area, smooth ride Cons: should have 6-CD in dash changer option The Bottom Line: If you need to haul a lot of cargo and lots of tall folks, this is the car I recommend. Very impressive for a vehicle in its first year run.
We were looking to trade in our 1994 Chevrolet Blazer and went to an auto show in our area in January. Out of all the sport utilities there, we chose the Honda Pilot.
Why?
1. My husband and I are tall folks, both over 6 feet tall, and...

Pros: well designed interior, quiet and smooth ride, good acceleration Cons: 3rd row cramped-only seats kids,no seat heaters, poor fuel efficiency (like all 4wd) The Bottom Line: I love my Pilot and if you need to haul gaggles of kids and still feel like you're driving a luxury car, it rocks.
I went to Honda to test drive an Odyssey because I was tired of the noisiness and lack of pick up with my '96, 4 cylinder, Subaru outback. I loved the Odyssey, very fun to drive, but we have one toddler and are expecting twins, so I really needed to see...

Pros: Nice looking, roomy great seating and interior layout Cons: Not really powerful, not really a SUB The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a heavy duty SUV, look elsewhere, If you want a nice people hauler with all wheel drive, and don't mind overpaying for it, go ahead.
Really nice and comfortable and roomy vehicle. But this is another SUV wanna be. Here's why:
I was interested in the Honda Pilot, but ultimately decided not to buy it. It was the strange way they rated towing capacity that turned me off....

Pros: Reliability, Gas Mileage, and Traditional Cons: Color (Black) The Bottom Line: It is a great car to buy because of its room, dependability, and safety (5-stars in major categories!).
#1-It is a Japanese car-meaning that it will last for a long time.
#2-It has god gas mileage so you save green.
#3-It is not one of those phony looking models that try to be flashy-it is a traditional but unique and subdued style.
#4-The...
