BAD customer service

Pros: server uptime and download speeds are pretty good Cons: Complete unaccountability on the part of customer support technicians
I am paying almost $500 per month for a dedicated server from them, and it often takes day or even multiple weeks for them to get back to me. They dont install patches when they say they will, then dont notify me, then dont install them again and then dont notify me again. They screwed up my DNS zone, which meant I was getting email bouncebacks and my web site was intermittently inaccessible, then tried to blame me, even though they were completely responsible for all the DNS zone setup and I didnt make any changes to what they did. Every time something goes wrong, they point the finger at someone else for completely ridiculous reason, if they ever get back to me at all.

Excellent Support, Excellent Service

I recently switched to HostMySite and I am so blown away by the excellent service I have received. It was complicated for me because I had to add my own shopping cart software and a lot of other tasks that i was not used to doing on my own. I called them at least 20 times, and a person picked up the phone everytime, I was NEVER on hold and they were very patient with me and helped me get everyhing done. My site is up and running great and I am going to recommend this company to everyone I know. The prices are great the services are great and the support can not be matched anywhere 5 stars!!!

These Guys Are the Real Deal

Pros: Reliable and competent, lots of extras for free. Cons: I honestly can't think of any. Obviously, I wish everything I buy were cheaper.
I started a small e-commerce site three months ago. HostMySite customer service is there 24/7 and handles all questions. They helped me upload the site, helped with the Google sitemap (which is important for good page rank), are extremely knowledgeable and I think very reasonable.(I pay $9.95 plus $15 for Miva Merchant.)
My site is always up, I'm protected from spam and they have great site stats. I was also able to totally customize my storefront with their tools.
