If you haven't heard of Res before this, you need to acquaint yourself quickly... as I don't think she'll be going anywhere soon. After getting her start by making guest appearances on Gza & Talib Kweli's solo projects, her debut CD "How I Do"...

Pros: Thought provoking lyrics, bare vocals, overall a very, very unique album.
Cons: There is ONE song (Sitting Back) that is a little too formulaic.

For an album that is this unique and inspired dare I say and successful at creating a completely lovely sound I am surprised that there was not a bigger buzz about this album. It's really unfortunate but something tells me that not even the singer...
