Pros: Attempts to make the industrial sound mainstream.... Sorta. Cons: Its a full CD of mindless teenage angst.
Too many to list.
I was given this CD as a birthday present... Needless to say the individual who gave me this is no longer my friend.
But it was a CD and it was now mine so why not listen to it? So I did, hoping that the remaining tracks wouldn't sound...

Pros: The definite fusion of hard rock, alternative, hip-hop and electronica put into each song. Cons: None
Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory" definitely took the world by storm. With the complex fusion of Hip-Hop, Hard and Alternative Rock, along with electronica, Linkin Park's music is absolutely top notch. But is it your daily typical music? No, it's not ...

Pros: Excellent songs and great innovations Cons: Too short and too much screaming during Crawling's chorus
Linkin Parks delivers a great mix of quality hip-hop, rock and nu-metal in one unique album called "Hybrid Theory". The first track on the album, called Papercut is a great opener.Staring with a rythmed hip-hop beat and some nice guitar riffs, it ...

Pros: Talented vocalists, good lyrics, "Cure For The Itch" Cons: Album is short, songs get very repetitive
Okay, if you are reading this you have either found it in the "New Epinions" section, or have heard "One Step Closer" and want more information on the band, Linkin Park. If you're one of the former, I hope you enjoy reading this, and if you're one of...

Pros: SPACE FOR SALE, TO POST YOUR ADD HERE, CALL 1-800-595-ADDS Cons: Crappy guitarist, dull instrumentation, annoying singer, ridiculously formulaic, uhh CRAPPY BAND?
I wrote a review of this cheesy album a year ago, and not surprisingly I got more hits on it than any other review I've ever written. Why, you ask? Because when people click on this album at this lovely website (ooh I'm kissing up to the editors tee hee)...

Pros: A CD with GREAT songs. Cons: Actually, about none.
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory 12 songs of gold.
This band is awesome. My all-time favorite. Get this CD, you won't be dissapointed.
1. Paper Cut One of their non-played-radio songs, but I love this song. This...

Pros: Clean, catchy, good vocals/rapping, and integrity Cons: There is one track, titled Cure for The Itch, that feels like a filler
Let me start out by saying I own cds of all genres: cookie cutter pop, chirstian rock/pop, pop country, classical, rock, and soft rock. All except rap. I hate rap; in fact, I DETEST rap. I find I don't like rock that much either. And yet Hybrid Theory ...

Pros: great music, popular songs Cons: none
Linkin Park has been one of my favorite bands for awhile now. I know every lyric and song on the Hybrid Theory Album. I've been to two concerts that Linkin Park has performed in.
The reason I like them so much is because they have good...

Pros: Great sound - rhythms and rhymes
You can't help but bang your head! Cons: Songs aren't long enough
For the last few years I've been severly disappointed with the lack of good music coming out. There are a few bands such as the Disturbed and Deftones that are breaking through with great original music. Too many times I listen to the radio or music...

Pros: From Chester's screaming to Mike's thoughtful lyrics to Hahn's mad skillz, what's not to love Cons: It's over entirely too soon
Out of the bajillion CDs I own, this is the one that has never become boring, never failed to make me get down with my bad self, and has, essentially, become timeless. I can listen to it by candlelight, while road raging, poolside, or pounding out...

Pros: Interesting lyrics, long playing time, great sound. Cons: Songs begin to sound similar to each other.
I have a standard for myself where I don't purchase an album until three songs have been released to the radio and I like them (unless the artist is deemed perfect in my book...meaning I buy it on the release date - weezer). After purchasing "Hybrid...

Pros: Great unique sound! Cons: Sounds the same after awhile
It was a sunny afternoon and I just had gotten through a rough day at school. My friend was driving us to the McDonalds when she threw in a CD. And that, my friend, is how I became to know and love this CD Hybrid Theory by a really great group, Linkin...

Pros: great songs for people who enjoy either rock or rap or both Cons: the album is too short
Biggest surprise of 2001- how about Linkin Park having the best selling album of the year. Yeah that's right not *NSYNC or Britney Spears... Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory is a great album but because it was so unexpected it got little recognition...

Pros: Not Two Songs Sound The Same, No Parental Advisory Versions Cons: Mostly Flawless
I originally heard Linkin Park on MTV2 when their video for One Step Closer was on. I knew I had to get the cd. The song was different than most heavy metal that I was used to hearing, but wasn't as bad as a pop/rock song. The title of the...
