Pros: Keyboard, screen, usability, reliability, portability, speed! Cons: None!! But, are you a trackpoint fan? If not, then it's a con.
I bought this T22 in January 2002, and everything worked perfectly the minute it arrived. It's very upgradable and operates at light speed. The Thinkpads come in three flavors:
A Series - bulky, but with all the fixin's - 1yr warranty
T...

Hello,
The T22 is an excellent product from IBM. Is is fast, light, and basically does everything a laptop should. This is the most powerful portable computer I have used to date. From my 6 months with it, I would have to say (aside from...
The IBM Thinkpad T series line of laptops is generally a business class of laptops, and it's priced accordingly. If you are just looking for a nice cheap laptop for college, look elsewhere. The Thinkpad T22 is NOT light on your wallet, with the base...
Pros: Light, easy. Cons: Too much IBM interaction.

Great bargain, exceptional quality by mattlq ,Dec 22 '05
Pros: Affordable, top quality Cons: Heats up a bit
I just picked up this baby for about $400 and think it is the wisest $400 I have ever spent. It works tremendously. I cannot compare this to other notebooks, but I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great product that is very sturdy, without all the frills. I will say that it heats up quite a bit, but I can live with that. Screen quality is marvelous. Keypad is very ergonomic. Pentium III processor is more than adequate for my modest needs. Since these were $3000 new, I don't know how one could go wrong with one for a mere $400.
I recommend it without reservation. Check out certified ones at IBM.com
