I have gone back and forth between desktop replacement and subnotebooks. The desktop replacements are like carrying around a desk and the subnotebooks are great to carry but tough to work with. I bought the X23 to replace a Sony picturebook and an IBM Thinkpad A22P and it is perfect. Brigth big enough 12 inch screen, full size keyboard and under 4 Lbs. It is slim yet very full featured. Use with a port replicator and you have your destop replacement that's ready to go when you are.
