Cons: None.

I received the Illuminator LED Flashlight as a gift for Christmas in 2006. It was won at a party where the gift exchange was in the format of a "Chinese Auction" ... people could steal away your gift and force you to choose another from ...

Pros: Small, attractive, no batteries, no shaking. You can pretend it's a phaser.
Cons: Brightness not as constant as a flashlight with regular batteries. Requires winding. Possible short lifespan.

(8/7/08 UPDATE: Sad to say, we've had to retire our Illuminators. They worked great at first and for awhile,but we put them aside for many, many months and when we recently tried to use a few of them, we found that they--and the DuraPros--didn't hold ...

Pros: Light weight, good illumination, convenient size, good grip, various colors -silver with black, red, blue.
Cons: Odd shape, no wrist strap, no case. May not be water-resistant.

I received the illuminator led flashlight as a gift from a neighbor. Later that month I went camping and decided to take it along. Wow, what a great addition to my camping checklist. Everyone thought it was the coolest flashlight - no batteries, just wind it and voila, you have light! When we got home, I realized that this would make the perfect emergency flashlight - so I bought 3. I keep them in my cars and by my bedside. I've had them more than a year and they just keep on working!
