Pros: Beautiful, hand painted graphics, fun easy-to-use map editor. Great for laptops & older CPUs Cons: Don't expect high-tech breakthroughs and there are no cons.
If you are new to the world of computer turn-based strategy games (TBSG), were hooked on Dungeons and Dragons-style table games before computers, love to design your own games, or just love dark-ages themes, then this game is for you.

Pros: Strong gameplay features. Reasonably good AI. Upcoming sequel. Cons: Not much along the lines of the 'Saga'.
If you are really into turn-based strategy games, this one is something of a cross between Heroes and OgreBattle. If not, that won't tell you anything, and you probably don't care if this is a good game anyway.

Pros: Good animations for the spells Cons: Very simplistic tactical level, unbalanced magical system, little variety to magic
I purchased this game after reading some favorable reviews, and was deeply disappointed. Although the graphics are slick, the underlying game has some serious design flaws. Play tends to be simplistic and dull. The big problems.
