Cons: 3rd floor can suffer pine-cone roof drops late at night, not "ski-lodge" environment, small sauna

a friend and i recently stayed at the inn by the lake for two days of skiing at heavenly. the hotel is conveniently located on the main highway through south lake tahoe. just as the website suggests, the hotel is directly across the street from the lake. ...

Pros: Nice room, friendly staff, great hot tub/pool.
Cons: None really.

We stayed here for 3 nights over MLK weekend. If you're a Triple A member, be sure to mention this when making your reservation as they have to void everything out and start over if you wait until you check out.
