Pros: * Syringe's clear body shows internal plunger mechanism

Pros: Lots of fun toys included. Great for pretend play and preparing for a doctor's visit. Cons: Really hard to stuff everything back into the case.
I had been wanting to get my son a toy doctors's kit and when I found this one at Ross and noticed it had an Oppenheimer Best Toy award, I decided to give it a try. It was rated for ages 2 and up; my son is three, but I figured that wouldn't matter. (I ...

Why can't they make a toy that last more than 5 minutes?
by josemalone ,Dec 26 '05
Pros: Reflex hammer, thermometer, syringe, auriscope, laryngoscope, and pretend reusable bandage are fine Cons: Deluxe kit, electronic stethoscope, and blood pressure gauge fall apart and are very poorly designed.
Maybe our expectations were too high given the price. Pictures online looked cute; Packaging was fine, shipping, etc., but the quality is terrible. Our daughter broke the plastic covers off the carrying case within a few minutes of play trying to get everything to fit inside. I really would like to see a manufacturer that would basically make toys that don't suck. If a toy cost $15, I'd gladly pay $20 to have one that would last at least as long as my child's attention span. Don't waste your money.
