Okay, if you are interested in throwing away hard earned money, please take time to purchase this piece of junk. The motor is very weak. One carrot and the motor starts to strain and grind. I have had to literally force carrots through the chute which usually overheats the motor and shuts it down for 5 minutes. Juices softer fruits and vegetables average. Large chute which is an advantage. Again will not juice carrots which are the staple of my juicing diet. I literally through away $100 when I purchased this machine from Target. Do not waste one iota on a decision with this useless juicer. I have now purchased the Breville 800 Juice fountain after carefully reading hundreds of reviews. I have used the Juiceman Jr, Juiceman II and enjoyed those for years. I have also juiced with the Champion, but did not like the clean up. Wish me luck on the Breville. I do intend to juice 2 times per day on average 1 quart per use.

I found several websites, the reviews basically say the juicer lasted about four to six times, then the motor went. The previous owner used it four times, once in front of my daughter before my daughter was given it for free. This time, my daughter brought over $10 worth of fruit, cut it up, then juicer motor burnt out. It was no wonder it leaked sticky pineapple juice, there is no seal between the white basket and the machine, I thought there was a part missing, nope, that is how it's made! Cleaning pineapple juice off the kitchen counter, and floor was no joy. Like almost all infomercial products, it's a good idea, but to make a quick buck the cheapest materials are used. I am afraid there is no way around it, go to a brick and mortar store, and don’t buy off the TV. Pay the money, try it, return the juicer if it is a problem.

Purchased Jack Lalanne Juicer about 18 months ago. Used it less than 20 times in a year before the motor stopped working. Motor supposedly has a lifetime warranty. I called customer support, paid $20 to ship replacement, and then waited and waited for months. Phone calls and emails informed me the motor was on its way.
Finally SIX months and many phone calls later I receive the base unit, banging around unprotected in a bashed-in box. Needless to say, the motor didn't work. Called again, just received a second replacement, packed in peanuts, but still doesn't work!!!
I even asked the customer service rep if this was a SCAM, because it certainly seems to be. Stay away is my advice.

I have had my Jack LaLanne juicer for 7 months and I use it almost everyday. I have not had any problems. The motor is quiet, it juices whole fruits and vegetables as advertised. The amount of juice is better than any other juicer I have used. The only drawbacks I can think of are that it is a bit time consuming to clean and does utilize a large area on my countertop.

I bought the jack lalane power juicer and i like it very much it is a breeze to clean and a breeze to use i would recomend it to any body who wants a good juice. I have a greenmachine and i like it but hard to clean .this jack lalane machine juices a lot faster and easyer to clean.
