For 7 years now, I have been using Jansport backpacks everywhere I go: school, camping, trips to the beach, you name it. Though I may have my complaints, Jansport is definitely the best name-brand backpack company out there today.
Pros: extremely durable and sturdy, lifetime warranty Cons: zipper sometimes comes loose and gets stuck, price is kind of high, does not appeal to younger kids because of it's plain appearance
I've had my Jansport backpack for almost 4 years. During that time, it has survived being tossed around, dragged on the floor, stuffed with papers and books, written on, and being washed numerous times. To this day, it still looks almost new.
Pros: durable Cons: no designs specifically for smaller kids
When searching for backpack for my step-daughters we came across the JanSport ones and decided to purchase them. They did cost a little more than we usually spend on bookbags but decided to try them because of the lifetime warranty.
When I went to the book store at my college a few weeks ago, the clerk was putting some new Jansport backpacks out. Two of them were VERY different looking. They were ice blue, periwinkle and navy blue. I immediately fell in love with this more...
This backpack has endured more abuse than it could have ever been made for. I am an overly active weight lifter, and use this bag daily for extensive weight lifting routines. This bag gets passed around the gym with weight plates in excess of 75lbs. We ...
Pros: Well Made Cons: More expensive then other backpacks; not waterproof
Starting in middle school, I would have days when I had to bring every single book home. I remember one day, I had some generic cheap backpack, and on my walk home, the straps broke off.
Upon arriving home, I weighed my backpack and found...
Jansport has long been known for their line of backpacks. I have almost always used a jansport backpack for school and when I go paintballing. They have always lasted me the entire year and sometimes through most of the next year. Jansport backpacks...
Pros: Sturdy and Convenient; Great to take to any trip Cons: Too many books caused the tearing of the side
I still have my college backpacks. I use them as the storage sites for some of my important papers and books. There is such a sentimental attachment to these bags! These two bags took to three and half years of college.
The first time I bought a Jansport backpack was about 5+ years ago. It cost about $30, and at that time, $30 was a lot for my family to be spending on one back pack. It turned out to be one of the best things my parents ever did. That back pack lasted me...
Is it actually true, can your backpack outlive you? It can be possible with jansport backpacks. Before I got jansport I would have to buy a backpack every year. Than I finally got a jansport and it was great. I have had three jansport backpacks my...
Pros: water proof, nothing can destroy it Cons: none
I would never, ever consider buying a non-JanSport back pack. I bought my bag two years ago from a local Sports Authority. The only reason that I bought it was because my friends were always talking about how great their bags were, so I thought to...
I initially purchased this product hesitantly. As my children got into the middle school age group they started asking for one. "All the kids have them" was the phrase they used. Being about twice the price of the backpacks I had purchased in...
Pros: good in all areas but one (below) Cons: the zippers never work!
To me, a backpack is a backpack, and they're pretty much all the same. I've had Jansports brand for about five years now, and I've gone through more than one of them. They're great (tough, durable, don't rip or wear out, straps don't break, etc) in all...
