Pros: Looks, wattage, sound quality and durability. Cons: Not designed to be run at high frequencies (like most subs)
I bought this subwoofer in addition to my stereo system. My current stereo is an Aiwa 200 watt (CDC -X517M In-Dash CD Player) with a Lightning Audio Bolt B150.2 (450 watt Amp). Just by adding a subwoofer will not give you the sound that you are looking fo ...

Best subs you can buy under 50 bucks
by cooper_22 ,Jul 22 '05
Pros: Affordable, sound great if you have a good amp. Cons: None, come on their under 50 bucks
Awesome sub, I bought mine 4 years ago and it still pounds as hard today as the day I bought it. I bought it thinking I could use it until I could afford something better, that was 4 years ago. I have one sub in an extended cab s-10, I'm running an Sony xplode 52 x 4 cd player, Kenwood 600 watt amp, and stock speakers, it sounds really good. I have mine in a sealed box with about 1 cubic foot of air space, this thing has taken a beating in the back of my truck and still sounds great. I would highly recommend them to anybody wanting a good sub, there not competition quality, but great for anybody wanting a good system on a budget.

Hey, who knew Jensen could make a good sub???
by jensenrocks ,Sep 22 '03
Pros: Super cheap and can put out a lot of bass. Cons: None.Really great sub.
Jensen...Not the first name I thought of when I was looking for a sub. To my surprise these subs really great. I bought two of them and did they ever surprise me. I use them in my home theatre system and they rock. I have th coolest Tv holder and the two subs are inside.(yea inside)
I have a big marble cube with two subs inside. Of course the subs are in little sealed enclosures.I finally put wood on both ends with a gap in the bottom and they really make some crazy bass. It's like i Created this really powered up enclosure combining the theme in a bandpass box but with a material that is so dead only the deepest bass comes out.Over all these subs will really create some big bass when put in a pretty big enclosure say...1.25cuft.
