Pros: Ummmm. Ummmm. Ummm..... I guess it's better than nothing. Maybe. Cons: Pitiful earning potential, no partners, no elite program, no service, more....
JetBlue seems to be doing quite a few things right and justly earning themselves the loyalty of quite a few passengers --- especially on their home turf of New York. Despite their aggressive stance on low fares, and their emphasis on new equipment, there ...
I have been flying Jet Blue Airways since May of 2005. I used to leave from Sacramento and fly to Dulles. At the beginning of the year I had to change and leave from Oakland. The reason that I chose JetBlue is that they have non stop flights. There ...
Pros: easy to use, free trips, not a credit card and more about flying Cons: could take awhile, but all frequent flyer programs take time
I had been anticipating the launching of a frequent flyer program by jetBlue Airways forever! Every week before it was launched, I would call in and ask if the frequent flyer program was in the talks. Finally, one day, they told me that they are working ...
Pros: JetBlue is a great airline with great service and high standards. Cons: You will find it hard to get a free ride on these standards.
There are Some Things Even JetBlue Cant Do Right I am a big fan of travel: I did about 60 flights this year all over US and Europe on network and low cost airlines. I love JetBlue for the fact that they redefined the notion of low cost ...
Pros: it's free (although it does take up a small amount of airline resources) Cons: points expire in one year, points accrue slowly, feels like gimmick to sell credit cards
I joined the JetBlue TrueBlue program the first time I flew on JetBlue. I do that as a matter of course when I fly a new airline. I've only ever earned enough on an airline frequent flyer program to earn a reasonable reward once and for some reason I ...
Pros: Easy and convenient, online access. Cons: Points expire annually & aren't easy to earn-chances are you won't ever be rewarded anything.
I am a dedicated Jet Blue passenger, and always fly Jet Blue within the US. I'm also a True Blue member. It's easy to sign up to be a True Blue member, and easy to be one. They are friendly and efficient, and you can manage your points online. That's ...
Pros: Easy to earn points quickly, good value for credit card purchases Cons: Not as many free flights available as I would like.
Yes, it's True Blue, the frequent flier rewards program from Jet Blue. In my opinion, it is really the superior reward program for airline fliers who take around six to eight flights a year because there is no real pressure to use it right away. ...
Pros: Comfortable flight - seating is very comfortable and televisions at every seat. Cons: Deceptive, fraudulent marketing of their True Blue-American Express partnered Awards program to potential customers.
Months ago, when I signed up for Jet Blue's True Blue program, I was told that I would obtain a free flight after accrual of so many points. I was excited! No blackout dates. No restrictions! Today when I tried to cash in my award for a free non-stop ...
Pros: Easy to book, excellent website. Easy to follow point system. Cons: Need Amex card or from expire in 1 year. Lack of non-flight reward options.
Used 50 points from signing up for an Amex card (which also gets you a 5% discount on paid tickets) to reach the 100 point total. Booked a free flight from JFK to Aruba on first attempt. Much easier than Continental or American. You can't beat the extra leg room and personal TV's on Jet Blue. Some people may complain about lack of food, but the free snacks are good quality. Point assignment is based on length of trip, either 8 or 12 each way. No actual mileage is used for calculations.
This program is worthless by lovesublime ,Jan 20 '07
Pros: Good if you're a jetsetter Cons: Pretty much everything.
The points accumulated expire after one year. You need to book at least 5 trips a year on Jetblue in order to earn enough points for any benefits. I don't know about anyone else but I personally can't afford 5 vacations a year nor can anyone I know. Over the past few years Ive flown Jetblue probably 10-12 times yet have not benefited from its "reward" program,
The airline is great, the rates are great, but the trueblue award program is truly pathetic.
Loyalty program is disloyal to members by kwaheri2u ,Jun 09 '06
Pros: Now easy to find out online you can't get a flight. Cons: What's the point of rewards if you can't use them? And Jet Blue doesn't care.
True Blue said you can't get a flight in January (holidays), February (holidays), March (Spring Break), April (Spring Break), June, July, August (Summer vacations), November and December (Holidays) . (I haven't asked about trying to get a flight in May, September or October so don't know what the excuse will be for those months) Many people can't get a flight except the offer of an occasional red eye flight. I tried for 8 months and booked 3 months in advance with no luck. I was helpfully told that you can book a flight a year in advance only the reward is only good for one year. Don't waste your time or money signing up for the True Blue Screw You program.

Pros: You can earn points quick if you have an amex card. Cons: Unless you are a business traveler you will never see a "reward".
I joined recently after flying jetblue frequently, almost weekly-biweekly..I already recieved my first award in 2 months. Largely due to my travel and amex points that I xfer over. I read some reviews and decided to look at the reward flight booking section and was shocked. You would think that after 100 points you could fly within reason to your selected date. Not the case at all. The only flights that they were going to allow me to book for "free" were $129 and under flights...i.e. Red eyes, early week days, times no one ever wants to fly or flights that were not direct. I never write reviews, but this program is not good-misleading and you would need to bust your bottom gaining points that are hard to use. I cant believe it. I thought that they were a pretty good airline and would do the right thing, but sadly they are just like the rest of them. Cutting corners everywhere and taking the fun out of flying.
Pros: Good service; tv's at seats certainly help occupy children. Cons: HORRIBLE that everybody in a family has to have a separate account to earn points.
I joined the program about six months ago because their service seems to be better than most...However, it is absolutely HORRIBLE that family members cannot pool their points...My TWO-YEAR OLD son has to accrue his own points...I just booked a flight for my wife and children on a trip I cannot make, and the points will be split three ways, and none will be credited to my account...This would have earned us one free flight (after six, round trip flights that I have booked on the airline)...Instead, my points will probably expire. HORRIBLE. In talking with a supervisor, they said they are "looking into it", and that "something may be done by July or August". Then she told me I "probably didn't read the terms and conditions"; no apology whatsoever.
