  • Skagen Titanium is great --UPDATE

Rated a Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Dec 27, 2002
Pros: very lightweight, good looks, no allergy
Cons: Poorly fitted parts in band.

Summary: I just wanted to make a quick update on this watch. I just spent seven months in Kuwait and Iraq in the military and wore this watch the whole time. Still keeping time and still looks new. All that sand and dust had no negative effect on the watch. ... read more

Pros: Attractive titanium finish, very durable, lightweight, low profile, great brand w/ lifetime warranty
Cons: Loud ticking (see note above in review), can be pricey if purchased at regular price

Summary: I purchased this watch from a store that was going out of business. For around 25 dollars, it was a steal! Anyway, the watch performs great. The titanium is very lightweight, and I love the brushed gunmetal color of the titanium metal. I like this brand ... read more

    Pros: Looks, weight
    Cons: Durability and reliability

Summary: I'll begin by stating first that I buy watches as accessories primarily, not for functionality. With that said, this watch performs its intended purpose admirably: it looks great. It's a very light watch being titanium, and comfortable to wear as well. ... read more

  • Titanium band?

Rated Show by the Epinions community
    Dec 27, 2006
Pros: Very sleek design & lightweight.
Cons: Band is not very durable.

Summary: I was looking for a slim lightweight watch that would last me for a while. A lifetime warranty on a watch called "Titanium" sounded pretty good for $100. However, after about a year my band must have snagged on something and as a result a sharp piece

  • Not for the Active Lifestyle

Pros: A light weight, attractive evening watch.
Cons: A light weight crystal that cannot withstand the slightest impact.

Summary: This watch is advertised at the manufacturer website as "ultra-lightweight" and "exceptionally durable." The first claim is certainly true. The watch is sleek, attractive and you barely notice it on your arm due to the lightweight titanium case.

  • Audible ticking

    Jan 21, 2006
    Pros: Beautiful streamlined design
    Cons: Audible ticking

Summary: I have owned two Skagen watches and purchased one as a gift. I was perfectly happy with the first purchase, liked the light design, and bought one as a present for a relative. The recipient liked it a lot, but said that the watch had an audible tick
