Pros: Saves you a lot of money and works excellent. Cons: Warranty not much to be expected.
Do you ever get tired of paying the dry cleaners for doing something that you can do yourself? Well, I am tired and I did something about it. I went on line at http://www.amazon.com/ and purchased the Jiffy J-2000 steam iron for $150. It took ...

Jiffy J-2000 Model Steamer
by marydw ,Jun 09 '08
Pros: heats up fast and lightweight. Cons: too time consuming with cotton garments and pants.
read reviews and bought mine. does not steam cotton dress shirts or pants and that was my main reason to buy it because I do not like to iron. it does a great job with permanent press. great for touching up after sending to cleaners or ironing.

Pricy But A Good Idea
by gardenlark ,Jul 26 '09
Pros: Efficient, Perculates alot of steam quickly.. Cons: Price, power cord too short, wheels hard to navigate over carpet.
We bought this after viewing reviews and we love it. We first used it on 13 sets of new curtains that were very package wrinkled. Once they were hung the wrinkles did not hang out on their own. This unit did the trick efficiently. This unit heats up and perculates to steam power quickly. Be careful as the hose is HOT and watch to move your finger tips about in front of the steam path lest they get a steam burn. I only have 2 minor issues with this units design. The plug-in cord should be retractable and longer. It is loose now and only about 4' in length. Doing an expanse as a window, for example, made some creative moments..The other minor issue is the size of the wheels. They should be larger to navigate carpet more easily. Most of the time I just pick it up and move it along the carpet areas. I have also found that for my husbands thick oxford shirts I still need to use a regular stem iron as those wrinkles need pressure as well as the steam to be removed.
