So why is he called "71-Hour Ahmed"?!?

by captaind captaind is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Books, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Jun 18 '05
Pros: Funny, satirical, good characters...
Cons: ... a little crude at times, not as good as others in the Discworld series
Jingo is another novel in the famous Discworld series by Terry Pratchett (the 21st, in fact), this time dealing with the subjects of war, national pride, and the like. Well, actually it deals rather more with Politics than actual ...

Discworld goes to war!

by hist hist is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Books, , Mar 15 '02
Pros: Wonderful humour with good philosophy behind it
Cons: not really a standalone, not quite as funny as the previous ones
Jingo is yet another book that takes place in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. It’s the fourth book to feature the City Watch, which is the police force of Ankh-Morpork, a city on the Disc. It’s also one of the best. The City Watch, in its...

by s_allen , Jan 14 '00
Pros: Where do I start? Its brilliant.
Cons: It helps to have read the others in the series.

Jingo: One of the Best Books I've Ever Read

by areese , Dec 02 '00
Pros: If laughter is the best medicine, you'll be healthy for a long time.
Cons: If you cannot read, you are unable to enjoy the print version of this book. I recomend the audio version.
This was the fourth book in the "Discworld" series I have read. I can definitely say that every single one of the books is good. This book is never ending hilarity. It is perfect for lovers of Douglas Adams. His writing follows different...
