Pros: Strengthens and improves condition of hair, nice scent Cons: May be a little costly.
I'm not exactly sure why this product is listed under conditioners. I think this may be misleading to some people so I want to make it clear in my review that this is a PROTEIN RECONSTRUCTOR. If you purchase this product, please make sure you keep that ...
Pros: Strengthens, repairs, adds protein, no breakage, no damage. Cons: Disgustingly expensive, off-putting scent, really misleading directions.
I have a huge problem with my hair breaking. I treat my hair very gently, but I seem to just genetically have weak hair, prone to breakage. The best product I've found for this product is Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor. It transforms ...
Pros: Absolutely changes hair for the better - great scent Cons: Expensive, potentially drying to non-processed hair
Introduction Joico has got to be one of my all-time favorites when it comes to products for the hair. Their K-Pak Reconstructor is certainly no exception. After proper application, I am not exaggerating when I say it feels like ...
Pros: Delivers shine, pliability and lightness to dry or damaged hair Cons: Can be pricey, overuse won't deliver good results
I want to start out this review by saying that I have been using this off and on for about twenty years, that's right twenty! I use this with the Kerapro shampoo which, like most of the Joico products, is a keratin based product. Keratin helps to make up ...
Pros: The package looked nice. Cons: It gave me so many split ends, I had to go get a haircut.
I have tried many different types of deep conditioner treatment, since I have colored hair. I have used some of Joico's K-Pak line, and thought since the Deep Penetrating hair treatment is so expensive, there must be some good in it.
I see a lot of people come into my chair that God only knows what they've done. I've seen fried, dyed, permed, over-processed hair more times than I can count. A lot of people are discouraged when I tell them I can't perform a service on them because ...
Pros: Great results, Leaves hair feeling more manageable, Appearance of hair looks healthier Cons: Off-coconut/banana scent
After reading many other reviews on this product, I was surprised at how many of them mentioned the cost for Joico K-Pak Hair Reconstructor Deep-Penetrating Treatment as expensive. I walked into a salon at the mall unsure of what to purchase for my thin, ...
Pros: Keeps your hair healthy, luxurious and smooth. Cons: Its pretty expensive...
K-Pak is one of those products where you just want to sit down and say, ahhh, Ive finally found it. I mean its like a revelation, Ill never have to go out and try to find a better product when it comes to reconstructing my hair. ...
As far as I'm concerned, the more you heat- style and dye your hair, the more 'reconstructing' you need. My hair color is 'all natural,' but the texture certainly isn't! What can I say? I'm in love with my straightener! But, with that love comes a ...
This stuff is worth the price by xxxtina ,Feb 22 '05
Pros: Great Smell, Nice Bottle, Effective Quickly, Easy to find, WORKS **** Cons: Slightly Expensive
This stuff works; I dye my hair not too often (3 times a year) but I straighten it, curl it and blow dry it and HATE to cut it. this stuff works like no other; salons recommend it and people do too. it feels like baby hair when you wash it out and dry it.
to the people that it did not work too; sorry? but your hair must have been messed up from the get-go because this stuff is awesome.
Pros: Highly effective yet light. Nice coconut fragrance. Restores very damaged hair. Cons: Somewhat expensive, but results are worth it.
I love this conditioner. It smells like coconut, and is light but effective. The directions say to leave it on only five minutes, which doesn't seem like enough time for deep treatment. My stylist instructed me to leave it on for several hours under a plastic cap, which I did. It definitely helped restore the condition of my hair after a particularly damaging session at the colorist, which involved a bad dye job and then TWO successive color corrections. I had to have some ends trimmed, but this was due to damage from the color. The conditioner revived the natural curl of my hair which had become straw-like, dull and straight after being damaged, and also restored my hair's natural sheen. I use this conditioner every week, leave it on overnight using a plastic cap and rinse it in the morning with cool water. I HIGHLY recommend this conditioner to anyone with salon damaged hair. It is somewhat expensive, but in my experience, it is worth it. A stylist can give you a small sample before you invest in a big bottle, but I believe you will see results using this conditioner.
I have finally found the light! by goodhair ,Mar 21 '07
Pros: To many to list! Cons: Cant eat it!
.........for my hair that is! This stuff is the absolute best! I cant find one bad thing about this product, not one! If your looking for a magic cure for your hair - this is it! Its amazingly formulated and was made with quality! Price wise i have found it to be expensive BUT way worth it!! As a matter of fact this is the ONLY salon product I would buy WITHOUT a sale! Its that good.
Just go get some and see for yourself! The scent is that of a tropical fruit array of bananas and other delicious aromas
Pros: Scent is nice. It really works on damaged hair! Cons: Expensive
When I first use K-pac,I hated it!
I bought the Shampoo, daily conditioner, and the once a week reconstructor.
It looked like it fried my hair when it dried.
I already had long,straw-like over treated hair.
I was upset, but decided to keep using it because I paid so much.
I then remembered reading a review that said use very little.
I also read that when I use the once a week treatment, shampoo first, then the 5 minute reconstructor, then the daily conditioner.(in that order)
I was used to using alot of conditioner because my hair was so long and thick.
YOU CAN NOT DO THIS WITH THIS PRODUCT!
I started using less and less. A little goes a long way.
I flip my hair over and start with the back and run my fingers through my bangs and sides at the very end.
These changes has made a HUGE difference in my hair.
My hair has done a complete 360!
This stuff is amazing!
Im glad I didnt give up on this product! :)
Pros: KEEPS HAIR IN HEALTHY, SHINY CONDITION WITH PROPER USE Cons: COST!!!!!!!
Living in the Florida sun can be horrible on hair. My hair is very, very thick and I have tried hundreds of dollars on other treatments. THIS IS THE BEST BY FAR!!! Remember this is a treatment, not a conditioner. Ask your stylist how to use it. I use it twice a week. Most can use it once. THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED!!!!! Returned my hair to normal after a horrible perm!!!
