Pros: Accommodates an infant carrier, easy to use, Child can sit or stand, Quality construction. Cons: Heavy, basket underneath is a little small, no parent cup holder.
I want to start off by saying I am a mom of 4 and have used A LOT of strollers over the years. My oldest 2 are too big for a stroller, but I have an active 3 year old and a now 3 month old as well. Due to the fact my 3 year old is extremely active and ...
Pros: Compact size, easy to navigate Cons: Sliding seat, no cupholder
I was in desperate need of a double stroller. When I had a newborn and a toddler, I got a Kolcraft Jeep double. It was heavy and bulky and nearly impossible to navigate. I recently purchased a double umbrella side-by-side, thinking it would solve my ...
Pros: Very sturdy construction, simple and sleek design Cons: Hard plastic parts and rigid fabric add weight and volume
I just purchased this from Babies'r'us yesterday. I got the red one but since the current reviews are for the orange color, I will add mine to the same. I've been thinking about getting this when I was pregnant with my second child. I do not want ...
Pros: Sturdy, simple, easy to use. Cons: Basket is hard to reach.
** just wanted to add a update after several years of use this is still working and opeating as good as it did when it was new. We still use it for both boys (which can be heavy) and it works fine. WE really like it. It's super easy to fold up and ...
Pros: Simple assembly, smooth ride, common sense additions, great harness systems Cons: No parent cup holder, no lock for seat, limited accessibility for the basket.
I was ready to dive into the world of double strollers. This has been something I have been doing a lot of research on and still had not found a solution that works for my family until recently. After many outings to the store, many reviews online ...
This is the second double stroller I've had. I started with the Safety First Two Ways Tandem and then moved to this. It was one of the best purchases yet. The biggest selling points are: 1) Size. Unlike other joggers that can be almost as ...
Pros: Compact design
Great idea Cons: Bad construction.
Choppy feel
The Caboose Tandem stroller is a great design and very appealing, because it allows to contain several children (up to three for a short time) in a very compact vehicle. But unfortunately it comes with serious flaws. And this greatly diminishes the joy. ...
Pros: Design, heavy duty, easy to clean, price Cons: couldn't figure out how to close, heavy, no extras
I first saw this stroller style in One Step Ahead magazine, and really wanted to try it, but did not want to pay for the shipping. How delighted I was to see it at Babies R Us one day! We went over it with a fine toothed comb in the store and decided to ...
Pros: Stylish, compact and light compared to most tandem strollers Cons: lacks the conveniences of cup holders and the under basket is very small and flimsy
I've had this stroller for about a year and a half now. I think it's great that one child can either stand or sit on the back side. My daughter is very active, and it serves her well to sit in the back. It allows her to freely get off and see things ...
Pros: Easy to open close and push around, and my toddler likes it. Cons: The basket is useless, can't get my hands in it at all.
This is a good stroller, easy to open and close and with two kids, and that is a must. It is pretty light for a double stroller and pushes very easy. Turning radius is nice in a store. I have an infant and a toddler, and my 3yr. old infant car seat ...
Pros: Durability, ease of assembly, compact. I love it this stroller. Cons: I have not found any yet.
I am 38 weeks pregnant and just put my caboose together. I only needed a hammer to slide the axle through. It was simple to assemble and I had no problems adding my infant car seat to the stroller. It turns on a dime and is very easy to push. My daughter ...
Wonderful For Any Momma! by simplyred21 ,Jun 27 '07
Pros: Lots of room, style, convenience. Compact and very user friendly. Cons: Hard to get to storage basket and a little bit on the heavy side.
This stroller is awesome! Lots of room for baby and older child, and works with any infant car seat. Nice that the older child has the ability to get off and on without much help. Compact, easy to maneuver in a crowded mall. Love the colors and design! Very sturdy and well made, unlike other brands with the same style. It didn't come with a parent cup holder or organizer, but that was easily purchased and a great addition to the stroller. The storage basket underneath is big, but kind of hard to gain access to. The stroller itself is a little bit heavy, but nothing that would make me not buy it all over again if I had to. A great alternative to the classic double stroller, especially since my older child is too big for a regular stroller seat. Overall, very much worth the money!
Pros: Great design, easier to handle than double stroller Cons: Snack tray design not practical for me
I've been using this with a 17-month-old and 3-year-old for a few months now. The weight is comparable to my old double stroller, but it lays flatter so it's easier to get in and out of the trunk. The basket underneath is shallow but it has elastic sides so I actually use it. My only criticism is that the snack tray for the front seat either has to be on or off -- I wish it had a hinge like my old stroller. We use it to go to the park, the mall, etc. and think it's a great product.
Pros: Reasonably priced, easy to steer, folds nicely, not too big/bulky, fits infant car seat Cons: No parent tray, takes some practice to take front tray on and off smoothly
While pregnant with my second child I dreaded the foray into the world of double strollers. They looked so big, bulky, complicated, etc. But since my son would only be 25 months old when the new baby arrived I knew I would need something that work for both of the kids. This Joovy Caboose was the answer I was looking for. It is a cool looking, practical, reasonably sized, easy to drive twin stroller. The only real drawback for me is the lack of a parent tray. I put an after market one (Babu) on that works alright but would really have liked it to come with one. My kids love riding in it. My 2 year old can just hop on and off his little seat (there is a seat belt for him in case he gets unruly). I've just moved my little one (4 months old)out of the infant car seat so now she's riding in the front. She's not sitting up very well by herself yet but the 5 point harness straps adjust so well the she's riding very securely up there.
Go with the cheaper, better Baby Trend from Target by twinsmominmn ,Sep 14 '06
Pros: Car Seat Attachment Cons: - Safety hazard
- 2 handed fold
- No Cup Holders
- Heavy
I purchased this for my twins from Babies R Us. The next day I was pushing it through Target and when I turned my daughter's foot in the front got caught and pinched in between the footrest (which isn't secured to anything) and the stroller frame. She screamed in pain and I returned it to the store.
The advantages of the Baby Trend Sit N Stand from Target are as follows:
- 3 Cup holders (2 for parent and 1 for baby in front)
- One hand release
- Weighs Less
- Better rear seat(bench)
- Easier to access basket
- Footrest in front does not move up and down causing a safety hazard for toddlers
