Pros: Extremely powerful, fast, works well, relatively small, just incredible! Cons: Expensive, but WELL WORTH IT! (Like always, you get what you pay for!)
This incredible blender is the perfect addition to any kitchen. Over the past several years, significant improvements have been made to it, such as a new non-leaking lid, and more flexible programming of the touchpad control buttons.
Pros: Amazing power, fits under the counter, flush/clean design. Cons: Expensive but doesn't look it; electronic controls take getting used to.
I saw the Vita-Mix demonstration at a local Costco and purchased it. I saw the HP3 demonstration at a Home and Garden Expo and realized I bought the wrong machine at Costco. SIZE MATTERS - The first thing that hit me in the demonstration was the ...
Pros: Well designed and easy to clean. Industrial strength and 8 year warranty.Excellent results. Cons: As a blender, absolutely nothing wrong with this. Not for making slices or grated vegetables.
I bought my Champ HP3 after seeing a demo at a home builder's show in Harrisburg PA for around $400.00 about 4 years ago. I was skeptical, of course, when you see these demonstrators with the headsets trying to sell something, but after ...
Pros: Electronic button pad
easy to wipe down
extremely powerful Cons: I have not found anything I don't like about this machine.
This is one awesome blender. You really can't call it a blender. I studied the reviews and considered really only two, the Vitamix and this one. The K-Tec Champ HP3 I bought was $325 and came with one blender jar. It can be used for wet or dry foods. ...
Pros: Large jar, power, ease of use, easy clean-up, health info in cookbook. Cons: Lid is disappointing
Since I used epinions a lot in my research before I got my Champ, I feel it is only right I give a review to let others know what I now know. I started with the Vitamix. A demo got me really interested. But I saw an add for the Incredible Chopper. It ...
Pros: Powerful, works well Cons: Short-lived, expensive, leaks
This is sold as a commercial-quality blender that can do not only the things that you would expect but can even, all on its own, make soup (because its high speed can generate so much heat) and ice cream (because it can so finely chop and aerate icy...
Pros: Extremely powerful, easily crushes ice, makes excellent smoothies, easy to use, fits under cupboards, programmable Cons: The vortex sometimes forces ingredients to be suspended above spinning blades. No plunger included.
I have used my blender once or twice a day for the past 2 1/2 years. The blender is capable of making frozen smoothies with an excellent, smooth texture. When making EXTREMELY thick frozen smoothies the blender does have a tendency to spin so fast that...
Pros: Greatest power at this price range and 8 year warranty. Cons: None that I have found yet... I will update this review if I find one.
You can price shop/match for this blender at various sites and get it down to around $320 -- I have had mine for a week now and I must say I am very, very impressed. This is not just a blender -- It is a food processor. I just put a couple cups of ...
Pros: Works sometimes Cons: Broke down after only 6 months!
After a lot of research on blenders, I bought the Champ. I had heard good things about the Champ but was torn between this and the Vitamix 5000. My unit completely stopped working after 5 months. I used it 120 times and kept it in excellent condition (n ...
Pros: Brute power, pure and simple Cons: Questionable reliability of the electronics
I bought this blender in June '04 and it certainly is powerful (and noisy). Two things - one, it tends to walk off the counter at the higher speeds. There is probably something I can do to prevent this - I just haven't gotten around to it. It's a ...
Pros: Powerful!
Easy to Use
Easy to Clean
Cons: None I can think of.
After burning through an average of one blender per year, and spending more and more for a blender each time, (the last one I purchased was a Cuisinart for $150.00) I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in a REAL blender. The only question: ...
Pros: Attractive Design.User Friendly Cons: Performance is poor and I found it unreliable and with design flaws.
I bought my K-tech blender around Feb 2004 . I mostly use it for salad dressings and sauces which is only occasionally. It had been releasing a bad burning odor and small pieces of black fine grainy material Under the carafe for a while. Initially,I wiped ...
Pros: controls, warranty Cons: doesn't fit under cabinets
I researched both machines extensively and waited a few days because there were pro's and cons's to both and I wanted to have the clarity that comes from cool-headed judgment - and bought the Vita Mix 5000. The pro's for the K-Tec unit were more power ...
3 1/2 years and still working! by quilarose ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: Works great, Would buy again! Cons: The Jar bearing go out too easy
I have had my k-tec blender for over 3 years. I can't say I haven't had any problems. But the customer service I have received when I had to send it in was great! I have to say I love it! It has been a very good machine. I use it ALL the time. I do wish they would redesign the lid, and add a plunger. And I wish they would redesign the Blender Jar. I like it, but after awhile the bearings go out. They are only $40.00 from Blend Tec. If it is under warranty it is free. If they start to stick or squeak just call them and they say send it in. They send you a new one for free! But you have to buy the whole Jar.. I thought they should have it so you can buy just the bottom piece, instead of the Whole thing. Anyway I would buy it again!
