    Pros: Price, sound quality, power
Cons: passive subwoofer, receiver size, remote control

Summary: If you are looking for a reasonably priced, powerful, feature packed Home Theater system, consider the Kenwood HTB-205. For under $300, this system delivers the features and performance of many systems twice as expensive. The HTB-205 comes ... read more

Pros: excellent value for the price. Great sound with my particular setup
Cons: subwoofer vibration doesn’t surround very well, poorly designed remote control.

    Pros: exceptional value for 250
Cons: subwoofer pops if too loud in digital mode

Summary: OK, here's the deal on this unit. I purchased mine at Best Buy for $249 which included a $25 BBC gift card. So I basically paid $225 plus tax. The next system up as far as I can tell is about $400. So if you're looking for something decent on the low ... read more

    Cons: No S-Video Inputs

Summary: If you're thinking about getting a surround sound system, and like me you don't make the $$$ to buy a high end receiver and high end speakers, then stop looking and go go buy this system now!!! I shopped around everywhere and did a lot of research and ... read more

    Pros: Power, flexibility, and value.
Cons: Speaker quality, ease-of-use, short wiring.

Summary: The Kenwood HTB-205 home theater system is most definitely one of the best values available. As with any sound system that costs less than $1,000, it has its problems… but you get quite a bit for the price. I have it connected to everything I own, ... read more

Pros: Extremely cheap for the performance. Great sound.
    Cons: Speaker design.

Summary: Over the past summer, I was looking for a new stereo to blast in my dorm room. I went to Best Buy for a look. After trying all of the stereos out (all of them without a dvd player since I already have one), I found this Kenwood to be amazing. It had ... read more

    Pros: nice price
Cons: no powered subwoofer souround speakers are too small

Summary: I bought this system thinking it would sound good in my 16x20 living room. I should have done some more research first. The speakers that came with it did not have the sound effects that I wanted. I ended up buying a another set of larger Kenwood

Pros: Very nice sound; two s-video inputs; optical, coaxial audio inputs
Cons: Sub, though good, is not powered (it's passive); no component inputs/splitters

Summary: I bought my Kenwood HTB 205 after checking out quite a few systems, many more expensive. I was impressed by the quality of the sound coming from those little speakers, so much that I kept coming back around to them and the system. Kenwood offers
