Pros: Compact, stylish, wide color choice, unbelievably quiet, fast and powerful, mini-bowl included. Cons: Storage box is awkwardly designed and won't hold additional accessories.

Pros: Assortment of blades, size, color, price Cons: weight
I come from a long line of kitchen aid users-- so I knew I wanted a kitchen aid food processor. I decided on the 11 cup because when I chop vegetables I chop a ton. I bought this one and I am so happy I did. As with most 11 cup food processors, this ...
Pros: It can do anything. Cons: Spillage at the spindle and the hole. Runs hot quickly.
This is my first food processor, so I do not have a lot of ways to judge via comparision. I love this food processor for what it does and that so outweighs the cons, yet it does have some room for improvement. First off the good stuff. It can tackle ...
Pros: Ease of Use, variety of blades, general safety, reliability of brand, Cons: One solitary speed, complicated attachments, massive weight, annoying spindle spillage, horrendous blade storage
This is the processor for anyone who has the patience of a flea on crack. Now I'm not saying that I am a chef extraordinaire, however, I would love a food processor that had more that one speed. This product is perfect if all you want to do is liquify ...
Pros: If you like the Kitchen Aid stand up mixer--you will love this product. Cons: None
Over the past 10 years, I've had 3 different food processors made by Cuisinart. This year I got a Kitchen Aid and it blows Cuisinart away. First - the motor is dynamite-very high powered. Second, the quality is outstanding. The Cuisinart is flimsy by comparison. Finally, it does everything and it does it well. It comes with a mini-workbowl which is great for small tasks. Plus, it does a great job with pie doughs, bread doughs and pizza dough. The citrus press attachment is fantastic. There is virtually no effort involved in getting a glass of o.j. If you are a serious cook, this is the machine for you.
Good starter machine; but can get hot and spill by sallyseraphin ,Aug 22 '05
Pros: Cheap and easy to use Cons: Single setting and messiness
I have never had another food processor so I don't have any grounds for comparison. Still, I know there must be something better out there. If you are a bonefied foodie you should get more (for more money). As a neophyte in the kitchen, I have used this machine twice, to make cranberry relish and gazpacho. Both times, the cup leaked contents from beneath (where the blades attach to the base). In fact, it leaked so badly that I am still wondering whether the manufacturer forgot to include a rubber stopper or something to water proof the mechanism. Considering that the machine can get very hot when you need to process something to a puree using its single setting, this can seem like an electrical accident waiting to happen. However, the machine is pretty easy to clean. So far, the cup and blades have survived the dishwasher. Also, the base, which lacks many crevices for grime to creep into can be wiped-down with a damp cloth.
