    Pros: Bakes and roast perfectly.  Takes a little while to preheat, but that's ok.  Cleans beautifully.
    Cons: Stovetop is  poorly designed!  Grates are raised too high above the burners.

    Summary: Purchased the Architect Series II gas range in May 2011...Oven is wonderful.  HOWEVER, the stovetop creates tremendous amount of heat.  Grates are not only extremely heavy, but they are too far away from the burners, causing all that heat to ... read more

    Pros: Looks nice.
    Cons: Unreliable. Needed major repair after only 18 months.

    Summary: We bought the KitchenAid slide in range, KGSK901, from Sears in July of 2007 and it only lasted 18 months, until January 2009 before the oven was inoperable and required a service call and repair that cost us almost three hundred dollars. If we had done ... read more
