I guess $50 is not enough to get a decent portable mixer... This one feels like it's battery-powered! It can't handle anything much above a liquid; cake mix was challenging! This was quite a disappointment for a Kitchenaid.

This mixer is so weak and powerless that I am surprised Kitchen Aid is even willing to put their name on it. With this mixer, my 7 minute frosting takes 15 minutes or more. If I did not have previous experience with other excellent Kitchen Aid products, this product would make me think that quality was not a high priority for their company. Hopefully I will have better luck with a different brand of mixer.
