Pros: Looks great, cool sides, even toasting, wide slots, simple to use Cons: Pricey, longevity, internal component quality

Pros: Looked nice. Had cool touch sides. Cons: Did not toast evenly. Only lasted 10 months.
Summary: We have had very bad luck with toasters. This one didn't toast evenly. It lasted for 10 months before dying completely. I called KitchenAid about a replacement. I was told the serial number showed it was out of warranty.

Pros: does bagels nicely. looks great in the kitchen. Cons: stopped working less than a year old no options for repairing it.
Summary: This toaster looks great with black and stainless steel. You would think at a cost from retail of $119.99 before taxes that it would keep working prior to the 1yr warranty expiring, but now the 2 inside elements do not work or go red so yu have to flip

Pros: Toasts bread evenly, but also does a great job on bagels and English muffins. Cons: A little pricey, but not too bad.
Summary: Our 27-year-old Kitchen-Aid toaster finally died 2 weeks ago. We decided on the KMTT200 as its replacement because, whereas every toaster makes toast, this one also said it could do bagels and English muffins -- getting them well browned on the cut side
