Pros: Cleans everything like a champ; flexible interior layout
Cons: A bit noisier than anticipated, but not bad at all
Summary: We bought this dishwasher to replace a 25 year old Whirlpool that had seen better days. (The old one was very noisy and just didn't clean dishes very well anymore.) Because we are going to build a new house next year, we didn't want to pay The Big ... read more

Pros: Great Washer provided you read the above and follow through. -
Cons: no filter to prevent objects like toothpicks, cig buts, broken class from clogging the pump.
Summary: This DW never worked well from day one - It is now 3 years and finally completely stopped cleaning. I called Kitchen aid and they said that other than cleaning the main area no further options remained other than a service call. We ... read more

Pros: Quiet, cleans baked on grime, excellent drying, plenty of options and made in USA.
Cons: None except choose a good local dealer instead of a national chain.
Summary: Ok. I admit it. I was a hand washer. (Boo, hiss!) My old dishwasher (a builders special) just wasn't up to the task of washing dishes. They came out streaked, grime baked on by the drying cycle and water puddles on all of the glasses. I knew I needed a ... read more

Pros: When it is petending to wash dishes and stainless ware it is queiter than most.
Cons: I just does a lousy job , especially on stainless utensils. I hand-wash them now.
Summary: It is a built-in box with a door just like the the less costly dishwasers that that actually wash your dishes. Sometimes when we wash dishes we use it as a drying rack. We just just put the rinsed dishes in the rack and leave the door open. If you ... read more

Pros: Quiet, cleans well.
Cons: Leaks, the door broke, there is no repair manual or guide available.
Summary: My 3-year old Kitchenaid KUDP02 has had leaking problems and now the door balance chord has broken. Just two older people live in this house. It is used gently and run once per week. I sure expected better than this. The Kitchenaid refrigerator purchased ... read more

Pros: Cleans well; fairly quiet; large silverware basket; all stainless steel;
Cons: Faultydoor spring cables; silverware basket over heating element will bake and crumble apart
Summary: This is my first time of buying a KitchenAid dishwasher. Overall it is a good dishwasher that does a good job of cleaning. The door spring cords have broke twice and the silverware basket bottom is crumbling apart and leaving holes at the ... read more

Pros: Cleans well, pretty quiet, nice stainless steel tank.
Cons: Mechanical quality. Motor bearings seized on a 4 year old dishwasher.
Summary: Years ago, KitchenAid was a top quality dishwasher. Nowadays they are just another player. We just replaced the motor in our 4 year old dishwasher, costing us $269. Today's quality is not worth the premium price. Thank you ... read more

Cons: Dangerous, poor quality
Summary: We have an 18-month old Kitchenaid dishwasher that has turned out to be real lemon (model KUDP02CR). First the door support broke, turning the door into a heavy, lethal weapon. Now it appears the controls for the heating are going -- the ... read more

Pros: CLEANS WELL WHEN WORKING
Cons: KITCHENAID COULD CARE LESS IF WARRANTY WORK IS DONE-THEY ARE ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH WHIRLPOOL.
Summary: KITCHENAID PROVIDES VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD MODEL THAT HAS BEEN SERVICED AT LEAST 4 TIMES. LATEST PROBLEM WAS BLACK SMOKE COMING OUT OF TOP PANEL AND HORRIBLE GRINDING NOISE. A WEEK LATER AND KITCHENAID WILL STILL NOT LOOK AT IT. WAS ... read more

Pros: Repairmen say KitchenAid is best
Cons: Basket and knife holder
Summary: KitchenAid wasted space by splitting the silverware basket into two removable pieces. They call the second small basket, a culinary caddy. I call it my extra-step basket. It looks like a six-year old designed it. It sits outside the bottom rack and ... read more

Pros: Quiet as a baby
Cons: Quiet as a baby

Pros: Large silverware capacity, dries well, shorter cycles, quiet!
Summary: We got a Bosch from Lowes, and it was in our home for two days. I won't go on about what I hated about the Bosch, but for the same money we replaced it with this Kitchenaid and I love it--plenty of room for all the silverware that this family of 8 ... read more
