Cons: I guess I thought twice about its price before buying it.

We've had this appliance about two months now and been nothing but impressed. Imagine, even a roast done to perfection in a microwave! The quality is visible in every facet of this appliance and what makes it work particularly easily is the intuitive touch display. Seems to answer every question you have as you're programming it.
I don't mind spending money for quality and this purchase, although fairly expensive, represents very good value.
My wife is an excellent cook and, initially, felt that the purchase of a convection/microwave with all these features was excessive and unnecessary but she has since been totally won over, she loves it. It is now summertime and she has not yet had to heat up our kitchen once by having to crank up our regular oven but still able to prepare meals for a family of five. She's now pleased with me for pushing to get it, and trust me, I need every possible bonus point I can get!!
We keep the night light on for the dog. She likes it too!
Seriously, this is an excellent machine. You won't regret buying it, at least we haven't so far. Cheers.

We did our kitchen over and for our microwave we chose the 36" model. I liked that it has the most powerful ventilation system in an over the range microwave. It can handle the professional gas cooktop we have with ease. It is so spacious, looks great, very different and I get complements on the style all the time. It has a great touch screen that allows for instructions and one button push start for melting chocolate or popcorn with everything perfectly done. It is amazing. Prior to this we had the LG with the brilliant blue interior the first day they put it in, it did not work, the sent us a new one that broke in three weeks so we really looked into this purchase and I am so so happy with this microwave. I cannot stop raving about it.

Pros: No Pros the unit won't even turn on
Cons: Kitchen Aid customer service was nice on the phone but no help to the consumer

We bought this Micro Wave from a Kitchen Aid dealer on Dec. 5 2007 within 3 weeks it would not work at all. Called the dealer and He called his kitchen Aid Sales person and they would not take a return for a new one.
They sent out a repair man and he could not fix it. He called back and wanted to take it to his shop to work on it.
We called Kitchen Aid our selves and the said their policy is to repair not take it back. They sent another repair man and he has ordered parts (2 computers) since he did not know which one is bad. That was 2 weeks ago and still no parts have been received. Called kitchen Aid again and they said they are sorry but we will have to wait for the parts.
I feel they do not stand behind their products and would never buy from them again should have went with a GE

Pros: Looks great impressive work great when it did.
Cons: Can't cook anything in it. Great for looking good in the kitchen.

Bought this 4 months ago poped pop corn in it and went dead. Waited 1 1/2 weeks for a repair man to show up (A&E Factory Service Kitchen Aid repair dealer) 2 weeks later still waiting for a new mother board and fuse part) I was told by the repair man not to pop popcorn in it. What good is a microwave if you can't cook in it. Called Kitchen Aid very nice customer service, but they could do nothing for me. Next time I will consider another brand. Now 3 weeks without a mircrowave.
