Pros: Very easy to use. Good quality for casual picture taking. Cons: Appears to be fragile in design.
The DX3500 with camera dock is an excellent camera for beginners. There are very few bells and whistles which makes for an easy to learn and understand camera. There are two quality settings. Even on the lower setting I obtained great results printing...

Pros: Easy, powerfull, camera dock Cons: Obscure lens, not alot control
I bought the camera 4 months ago, and have had some regrets.
The camera is smart, and figures alot out to perfection. White light, balance, the works. But occasionally it makes some mistakes, and you have no say in it. Even the most powerfull photo...

Pros: Easy to use, takes great pics for the average user, docking station is great. Cons: Don't expect to get crisp 8x10's, not a lot of zoom capability
I got this camera last year for Christmas, and I have been happy with it. I feel that this review is somewhat outdated, as better cameras for the price have come out by now, but I'll write anyways. The DX3500 is sturdy, (it's been dropped) takes great...

Pros: Easy to use and reasonably priced. Cons: Pictures sometimes blurry.
I use this camera mostly for placing pictures on auctions and the software is easy to use for transferring from the camera to your PC as well as putting them on the auction sites. The software is easy to install and makes it easy to put the pictures on...

Pros: Big pics crystal clear, kid can use it, very light, long battery life Cons: Pics blurry when zoomed in too far
Great prices for such a good-quality camera. The large pictures are crystal clear, the camera is as light as a feather, the battery will last for a LONG time, and it is surprisingly easy to use. I bring the camera with me almost everywhere, taking...

This is my second digital...
by justnkell_dt3000 ,Jul 30 '02
This is my second digital camera. My first didn't have a flash and was a video recorder too but pixles were 1.3 so I am happy with this one. My first was stolen or I would still have it. Was Kodak too and love Kodak products. Wish the dock would come with it. But very happy with price. Bought new for $125.00. Dock is $70.00. I like that it has internal memory and you can use a card, makes it have options. I would really recommend for price and overall happiness.

Its a good little camera for the money. Pictures are good quality. The docking station is probably the most attractive part of that camera. Making picture transfert and battery recharging very friendly.
Kodak should sell the camera and the docking station as a package. Right now, you have to buy the camera, the docking station is an option.
It is to expensive.

Good first camera to get, low price. Don't need the dock if you have AA battery charger. No optic zoom, and the digital zoom is blurry.

For my 1st digital camera...
by bukchoi_dt3000 ,May 08 '02
For my 1st digital camera I selected the DX3500. It's a good little camera for the initial price. Mine cost $218.00 after tax. Pic quality is great and easy to use menu. However the packaging and literature is decieving. Giving one the idea that it comes with the bay. It does not nor does it include any other charger. Where I live the docking bay will run me another $80.00. $300.00 is far too much to spend on this camera. Next time I'll be more alert, and will stay away from Kodak products.

I really like this camera. the pics are so clear and sharp. I would recomend this to anyone. it works perfect with a 64 card and a docking station. I think it can keep up with other very expensive cameras, and this one is very reasonable priced.

by cubanolibre_dt3000 ,Jun 01 '02
I bought this camera because the price was right ($180.00). I should have waited. It's fine for a point-and-shot camera, but really has no other options. No OPTICAL zoom, and the flash pictures are really very poor. Outside daylight pictures are very nice, and with professional printing look as good as SLR fotos. It does have the option for the camera docking station (expensive option at approx. $79.00) for easy downloads into your computer. Downloading via supplied USB cable is also simple and supplied software is adequate. The DX 3500 is VERY EASY to use, but if you are a more serious amateur photographer, spend the money on a much better camera (Canon G2).

I bought this camera for personal use, and am very impressed with ease of use and high picture quality for the price. My only hangup is the limitations when you don't own a memory card, which I don't. Software upgrades even require a memory card. Would be nice if included. Still LOVE the camera, though.

For such an inexpensive camera, it's 2.2 megapixels worked just fine for personal use. It's small, light, and has an LCD screen. The digital zoom can be blurry at times. Good flash, and easy to download to your computer witth the supplied cable. Overall a 5!
