The frame worked fine once I got an AC adapter that worked. It took 28 days for Kodak to replace my faulty power supply. Their tech support was difficult to understand, and they did not seem knowledgeable about their own products. The frame was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift, but it didn't work until Father's Day. As I said, the frame works fine now. The pictures are pretty clear, and it was really easy to load files onto the frame. I'm sure that there are digital picture frames out there that offer higher resolution or other features that this one doesn't, but I feel like it was a good bargain for the price.

I have had my frame for 3 months,I like everything about it.I just wanted to share that a 2 yr. old,threw this frame down on a hardwood floor 4 times during the course of a week--and it still works fine.Each time it happen,I thought oh no the frame is gone,but is very sturdy.

1st one purchased I was told to return to store by a Kodak 'tech' because the memory card would not show up.
2nd frame- loaded all photos from computer onto memory card (in Frame) and nothing but a time glass! 6 e-mails to Kodak- and no help- just tell you to "UPDATE" and had told them 2x's that the frame was already updated to latest firmware. By the way, no real updates for MAC OS 10.3
and only 1 for 10.4
yeah sharp pictures IF you can get it to work the way it should! KODAK is losing in my book.
I will return for another Brand that works and with better support.

I won this in a prize drawing, it is an excellent frame! The picture quality is amazing! The menus are easy to use. Just plug and go. It even includes a nice remote control!

The Kodak SV811 is a poor design. The SV811 screen is 16:9 and the pixels are 800 x 480, which is NOT 16:9. That means the pixels are not square (maybe the screen was made for TV). The screen is re-digitizing the pictures to make them fit and this markedly lowers quality. I proved this by making three photos in an editor, one is 800x480 and the other two are 16:9 variants: 800x450 and 853x480 Each picture has cross hatch line one pixel apart. Only the 853x480 fills the screen and only the horizontal lines are crisp, the vertical lines have been extrapolated and are gray fuzz.

I'm returning mine.

FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, THE FRAME HAS NOT PERFORMED AS EXPECTED. IT FLASHES A SCREEN WHEN IT ENCOUNTERS A FILE (PICTURE) THAT IT SAYS IN "BAD". THE SAME PICTURES WORK FINE ON ANOTHER BRAND FRAME. IT ALSO FREEZES ON PICTURES WITH NO APPARENT REASON. I CHECKED WITH "TECH" SUPPORT AND IT WAS A JOKE. NO ONE REALLY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG. WROTE TO KODAK TWICE ASKING FOR REFUND...NO REPLY!
