Pros: Fits in my pocket
Good Value
Love the Macro and video for the price Cons: Must turn dial to turn on and off
buttons are small
My wife and I have been looking through a series of cameras since the first of the year. She needed to upgrade one for herself, I lost my little pocket digital, and she also needed a couple of cameras for her camera club at school. Most of the cameras we ...
Pros: Portable, great features, good quality photos Cons: Shutter response time, no case, slow review mode
The Kodak EasyShare C653 digital camera has been a very good camera for me in many ways. It's only a little thicker than a deck of cards, so it's easy to slip into a pocket and go. My previous digital, which had an impressive array of features, ...
Pros: Great pics and lots of features for the price. Easy to use. Cons: SD card slot is in the battery compartment. Kodak does not include a case.
I received this for my birthday as an upgrade to my old 1.3MP camera. My previous camera was a Samsung Digimax, but at work we use a Kodak digital, and I was impressed with it enough to buy one for personal use. I bought the C653 on sale at Office Depot ...
Pros: Fits in a shirt pocket, durable, intuitive, long battery life, point and shoot simplicity. Cons: No storage case included with purchase.
As a Realtor, I needed a good digital camera. Many of our photos are interior shots which are not well lit. While our office camera has all the bells and whistles, the buttons are tiny and the camera itself is rather bulky. It is embarrassing to ...
Pros: Compact, full flash, varying Scene modes, 6.1 MegaPixel, 3x optical zoom Cons: Buttons a little too small, slow shutter-to-capture response
For years, I used cameras ranging in the 3-megapixel range. I needed to switch. Luckily, I received this camera as a (suggested) gift for my birthday. After using this camera, I have been very pleased with its ease-of-use and its adaptability to many ...
Pros: Accurate color presentation, easy to use. Cons: Lousy resolution, more like a 2 or 3 mega-pixel.
I read reviews about the Kodak C653, which scored the camera quite highly for a 6 mega-pixel. Office Depot had it on sale for $109, so I took the plunge. Sadly, the camera was a great disappointment. I have perfectly good 20/20 vision, and the C653 ...
Pros: Optical telephoto, very good photos & video, easy to use, Has survived rough usage. Cons: Recycle time is slow, won't fit in very many pockets, battery life is short.
The camera is relatively easy to use once you get used to the very small symbols (common to all cameras!) It is an easy camera to use by anyone not familiar with it.Easy to switch between modes which cover most situations novice users encounter. The body is slightly bulky compared to some slim bodies, but I wanted optical telephoto. The video component was a bonus as the video is quite good for a camera, however, the telephoto is disengaged in the video mode, you have to choose what you want before starting the video. There are free format converts which can convert QuickTime to Windows compatible formats.
