I bought this camera after my Canon SD450 got stolen. I liked the Canon a lot, but decided this time around I'd try this Kodak because it was also 5 megapixels, and about the same-sized camera, and further expected it to have these advantages: - A ...
Pros: Nice pictures no grainy look at 5x7 Cons: lens cap and customer service
The camera is easy to use and small, you can fit it in your purse and snap pictures with it fairly easily. The software is fairly straight forward and is easy to use. The pictures also have turned out great. I have taken around 500 pictures with it and ...
Pros: Extremely simple to access all the features and it takes great photos. Cons: Viewing files on camera on another pc - need USB reader
Born in Rochester NY I grew up with Kodak all around me. As the film based cameras use has declined so have Kodaks fortunes. Well this fall my son asked for a small digital camera for his birthday, I immediately looked at a Casio model, the Exilim S500 ...
Pros: Great pictures. Rugged case. Small enough to fit in my pocket. Cons: Sound capture on the video leaves room for improvement
The Kodak v550 is yet another great little point and click digital camera from the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, NY. I own a black one which I have had mine for about 3 years now without complaints. I’ve done a bit of traveling with this camera ...
Pros: Large, bright screen for reviewing and display images. Cons: Not very durable (broke spontaneously), small buttons, some not very useful features
I've had this camera for 4 months now, and all of a sudden the camera broke for no reason. I didn't drop it or spill liquid on it, yet it refuses to turn on anymore. Up until the camera broke, I was fairly happy with it. Because the camera seemed to ...
Pros: surprise your self with the beautiful LCD screen and full 30fps video recording. Cons: slow between shots, average 2-3 sec.
I do have one V550 for 7 hours now. Yes, this camera is power hungry - 2.5" LCD screen explains it - and the battery is as small as compact flash card. In fact, I wonder why it takes 100 pictures plus video (unlimited in time segments)on the ...

I bought the Kodak V550 digital camera for my boyfriend and it's the best purchase I have ever made! Though it is a bit pricey, I do think it's worth every penny when it comes to your memories. I shopped around for the best quality and price and Best ...
Not pocket durable and poor customer service by CHB9988DMB ,Sep 15 '06
Pros: Good looking camera with big LCD screen that takes decent pictures. Cons: LCD screen is too fragile for promised pocket use, customer service is frustrating and worthless.
After 40 years of complete satisfaction with Japanese cameras, I made the mistake of returning to Kodak. The V550 is promoted as a pocket camera, but the LCD screen broke under expectable conditions while being carried in my pocket. Kodak does not warrant the camera against breakage in normal conditions. Efforts to discuss the appropriateness of honoring common law warranties of fitness for use were fruitless since they had to be conducted with offshore customer service personnel in the Phillipines who had no ability to escalate to discussion with someone at Kodak in Rochester. I'm tossing it out and returning to Sony.
Pros: THe interface, buttons lights and display on the outside are really stylish and awesome. Cons: The camera isnt very safe, it requires you to buy another hardshelled case.
This camera is pretty reasonably priced at 303 and fullfills a number of needs. Its small and sleek and pretty resilient to short drops. The 2.5 inch display is one of the largest on the market and also makes for good video playback. The digital software is makes it easy to share pictures, downloading and transferring are easy with the cradle. The 5.0 mps provide adequate picture quality.
