Pros: Good optics, 10x optical zoom, features, battery life, fast focusing, large 2.2-inch screen Cons: Slow writing to memory, size, no image stabilization, loss of detail at ISO 400
The mega-zoom market is hot. The cameras that feature high optical zoom numbers (e.g. 10x or 12x) are very popular. After trying out the popular K

Pros: Automatic Capture and Scene Modes...10X Optical Zoom! Cons: No manual focus.
I have mostly been a video guy for as long as I can remember, I never saw the need to get myself another camera, the last one I bought was like 20 years ago, and when that one got accidentally dipped in the ocean, well that was the end of that. My ...
Pros: Very good digital & printed image, 10 times zoom lens, 16 auto modes, full manual Cons: No stabilizer but lens is excellent. No manual focus but not needed
I reside in mainland Europe. I bought KODAK EasyShare Z7590 in June 2005. I have used a Canon AE-1 program with normal and telephoto 27-105mm lenses for the last 25 years. I have also used a digital HP C-20 1Mpxl. since 1999. I used to shoot on ASA100, ...
Pros: EASY to Use. BIG LCD. High Quality Shots. Zoom Awesome Cons: OFF ON 4 Seconds? Missing Image Stabilization.
I finalized my budget for a digital camera and set the limit at $500. Surprisingly this included a good number of cameras to choose from. I finally decided on this camera and have owned it for over 1 year. This camera is PERFECT for the Photo Enthusiast ...
Pros: Price; extensive features; detailed manual; great for novices through professionals; 10x zoom Cons: Many tiny buttons that are too close to each other; lag time between single shoots
The Kodak EasyShare Z7590 digital camera is the first full-featured digital camera I have purchased, and it was worth the wait. The camera is new as of May 2005, and it is an upgrade of the Kodak EasyShare DX7590 digital camera, which I almost purchased ...
Pros: Large LCD screen, 10x zoom, available printer dock for instant picture printing. Cons: Large and bulky, few options for cases, flash has to be turned on manually.
After endless searches on the internet and through Consumer Reports and similar magazines, I couldn't decide between three cameras. One of them was the Kodak Easy Share. The decision was made for me when I received the Z7590 for Christmas. For the ...
Great Digital camera with SLR modes by mbryansf ,Aug 05 '05
Pros: Great preset modes for novice users along with SLR modes for the advanced photo junkies. Cons: Plastic Lens cover is cheap-broke when it fell on the floor.
I just bought a 2nd Z7590, the first is with my Father-in-law in Brazil. I took in on vacation, and he kept it. So as soon as I got back I ordered another. I enjoy the manual controls which allow me to be creative, and my Luddite wife loves the simplicity of the automatic modes. This is my 5th Kodak "Easyshare" camera (2 were stolen & 2 I sold upgrading to newer models), and I continue to be a fan of the ammount of features they offer for reasonable prices. The Z7590 has most of the same functions, available on my old "Canon EOS" SLR(film), with a LCD screen, at a fraction of the price.
Short videos sound decent, Histogram is helpful in determing exposure, and sports mode excellent.
External Flash synch is a nice addition, I bought a slave flash that mounts on a bracket next to the camera to entend the range to 50 feet.
Pros: Great quality pictures; Big LCD finder; price; zoom is great Cons: Nothing!!!
I got this camera for graduation. I love it. Not only is it easy to use but it takes great quality pictures. The LCD is a great size. It has many different options for taking pictures at different places. I would recommend this camera to anyone.
KODAK EASYSHARE SOFTWEAR IS VERY ANNOYING by realmusician ,Jul 23 '06
Pros: Nothing special. Cons: Very annoying softwear.
It takes over your computer and flashes messages at inappropriate times. DON'T INSTALL KODAK EASYSHARE SOFTWEAR. It's very annoying. Kodak Easyshare softwear starts up from the moment you start your computer, and if you don't shut it down, messages from Kodak will float across your screen while you're in the middle of something important. If it wasn't for the fact that I own a $600 Kodak Easyshare camera, I would have deleted this stupid program immediately.
The Best Camera I Ever Bought by low_reviewer ,Apr 11 '06
Pros: Easy to use, and highly durable. Cons: Wish it came with a better a strap and case for carrying it.
I believe in the next 3 to 5 years there will be so many clones of this camera! Fascinating, easy to use, with help, and hints built right into the camera so even a novice can use it and look like a Pro. This was by far the best camera and zoom I ever purchased. It was just the right money for the quality! My best camera I own. Great for web developers and photographers.
