Pros: Price, easy to use, resolution, manual controls, image quality, large LCD, fast focusing, battery Cons: Manual lens cap, joystick, slow startup and shutdown, unresponsive zooming
I have bought the Kodak EasyShare Z760 for $221, including the docking station (Dock series 3). The camera arrived in a large white/yellow box several days later. The 6.1-Megapixel Kodak Z760 with 3x optical zoom and 2.2-inch LCD screen seems to be a ...

Pros: Affordable, looks great, easy for beginners, plenty of options for the more experienced. Cons: It doesn't cook or clean.
After reading many reviews on this camera, I decided to buy it. I work at Wal-mart so I got a discount on the already low price of $199. I chose this over a PSP and an I-pod, being that I have a Playstation 2 and a nice walkman already, and all I have ...

Pros: Sharp crisp vibrant professional pictures any size, extremely easy to use, versatile and adjustable. Cons: Good video but not great. Buy extra memory.
First my experience: (review is after) We were looking for something to take pictures and record video. A friend brought over a camcorder (JVC D250) and we liked it so we bought one too. Got it home and noticed I couldn't hook it up to my PC with a USB ...

great buy!
by haasahhh ,Nov 02 '06
Pros: rechargeable battery, good battery life, easy to use, clear pictures, minimal shutter lag, overall goodvalue Cons: size, manual lens cap
I love this camera--got it for Xmas '05 for $199 at Wal-Mart on special. It's a little bigger than what I was looking for, but it's a great value. If you're looking for something compact and slim to fit in a small purse...this isn't the camera! I love the different shooting modes, but hate the manual lens cap. I lost mine after about 2 months! Camera takes a few seconds to turn on. Also when you're switching from reviewing pictures to taking pictures, it takes longer than I would like. But actually reviewing pictures and flipping through them takes no time at all!

Pros: Great pics. Long battery life. Ease of use. Very adjustable. Cons: Video is OK, but I use the camera for just taking pictures.
I have tried 3 digital cameras. The first was an early HP. I don't remember the model, but didn't care for it at all. The second was a canon. I just bought the Kodak Z760, and have already just about mastered it. It is a great camera for the beginner, and also a good camera for the "pro". I really like the scene mode. I also like the red eye reducing feature built into the camera. I've never owned or seen a camera that doesn't produce red eye from time to time. I have a 512 memory card and can take around 150 or so high resolution pictures. I have windows XP and didn't need the EasyShare software, but I installed it and like it pretty well. I put a few pics on a CD and went to Wal* Mart and had some prints ran off, and I was amazed at the high quality of the print. I'm keeping it and recommend it to anyone who wants a great camera for a decent price.

very well pleased
by silverindian ,Jan 07 '06
Pros: all pros here Cons: not the first con here
the very biggest bang for the buck. very simple to use.setsup to use very quickly for happenstance shots. i'm no pro photographer and feel the higher priced makes with all the complicated gadgets was unnessary for me. i haven't seen one anyway that makes a $500.00-$1000.00 worth better picture.i haven't had a redeye problem since i leared how to use it. i did how ever get redeye untill i actually read the manual. there has been nothing about it that i'm unhappy with. i don't make photographs for a living , i only do it for pleasure and this one is a real pleasure. thanks kodak!

Its the best camera you can get for the price and more!!
by donaldtroberts ,Mar 12 '06
Pros: Great quality clear, nongrainy pictures. Long battery life. ez 2 use. Cons: sometimes a little slow to save picture to card. Needs a 50x optical
You can find these cameras real cheap on ebay and the quality of the pictures look professional. Especially if you use a tripod. This camera is easy enough for anyone no matter how mentally challenged you are, you will be taking pictures like a pro. The only drawback on this camera is that it deserves a more powerful zoom. I use a lexmark p315 printer and am getting far better photos than when I used real film.Ive fallen in love with this camera. The battery last a long time and you can upgrade to a higher quality battery if you need extra time. But usually the regular battery is sufficent. There is a little red eye indoors but they do provide software that has redeye reduction. I looked long and hard and read 100 of reviews before I bought this camera and I feel safe in saying that if you buy any other camera in this price range besides the Z760, you are an IDIOT.

Easy for beginners
by jester805 ,Aug 28 '06
Pros: Price, easy to use, Advanced features Cons: Quality of pictures with different lighting
I got this to replace an older Kodak digital camera. At first I was very happy with it. However, after using it for a couple months....I don't like the way handles some lighting. I've tried taking pictures of my aquarium, but the pictures are either too bright (with flash) or too dark (without flash).

AWESOME CAMERA
by crystal1971 ,Dec 31 '05
Pros: BIG GREAT PICTURES, TAKING RED EYE OUT AND ENHANCING THE PICTURES. Cons: I have nothing to say here I love it!
I can't say enough about this camera, so to make it short its great and so easy to use. I love the dock I have for this camera as it charges the batteries so good that they last a long time well besides making it easy as ever to put my pictures on the computer all you do is plug it in and they go automatically. I would recommend this camera to anyone and it was a great buy on line 199.00 with the dock included!

Kodak Z760
by epinion8or ,Nov 26 '05
Pros: scenery pictures ok. Cons: Not recommended for taking pictures of people with blue or hazel eyes.
I just purchased this camera from Walmarts after Thanksgiving sale for $199.00. I recommend this camera if you want to do still pictures. However, if you are like me and do a lot of scrapbooking and memory photos for keepsakes, I don't recommend it. In almost every picture, everyone in my family gets red eye. I am very familiar with the red eye reduction options -they don't work. This is my second kodak, and they both failed at the red eye. Also, both Kodak cameras I owned had this in common; while in video mode the color jumps around and changes the tint from orange, to white, to yellow. Shutter lag.

Camera for beginners
by Umka ,Dec 18 '05
Pros: the only thing i liked was taking movies with sound Cons: 3MP quality camera and read the review
I bought Kodak Z760 camera on "Black Friday". Well, i can say that this 6Mp camera is equal 3Mp or less by quality . since it doesn't reduce "red eyes" even black one! too many functions which don't work and besides it doesn't have auto fix, so, many pictures become blurry. Not standard AA batteries so that i had to buy additional Li-ION batteries for more money. Optical zoom only 3X while the camera has huge size and not suits in a pocket. I would rather buy Canon or Nikon with 4MP again than this Kodak with 6MP. So i'm going return it back today.
