Pros: Compact, 10x optical zoom, stabilization, wide angle, good battery, easy to use, price Cons: No direct control over shutter or aperture, some blown highlights and agressive noise reduction
I have always liked Panasonic digital cameras and have always wondered if they would figure out how to produce the same kind of pleasant color and lower noise as Canon cameras do. I am a big fan of cameras that have optical image stabilization, wide ...
Pros: 10X Zoom, 28mm wide angle, substantial build, compact, Leica optics Cons: Tad heavy, no manual control, no raw image, fragile lens protector, somewhat awkward handhold
Introduction I have always had a love affair with cameras. From the moment my dad gave me his Argus C3 (the brick) when I was 15 I was smitten. I loved using them, loved reading about them and on occasion, when something new came along buying ...
Pros: 10X Optical Zoom; Image Stabilization; Small case; 3" LCD Monitor Cons: No manual control for Aperture or Shutter Speed
I have to be upfront and say that I love this camera. Before you say How can this guy give an objective review, let me explain. I have had a number of digital cameras over the last 10 years: Sony, Olympus, Fuji and now Panasonic. I have a ...
Pros: x10 zoom, image stabilisation, quick turn on time. Cons: No included pouch, badly positioned tripod mount, jerky zoom and flimsy battery cover.
I've had this camera for a couple of months now, so I can now write a reasonable review... Our Minolta Dimage Xt is getting a little old now. Its had several new batteries, none of which last very long now. It doesn't reliably charge when stood in the ...
Pros: Resists fingerprints, slim profile when lens closed, quick shutter, good photos Cons: Rotating wide/telephoto ring fragile, non-standard battery, QuickTime format bad for video editing.
*** MAJOR UPDATE (4/26/08) *** This review was updated two weeks after purchasing the camera, and under quite peculiar circumstances. Originally, I had given this camera a rating of 5 out of 5 on Durability. I was out with the camera at a local ...
Pros: Incredible pictures, very clear and colorful Cons: Price
Electronics (namely computers, TVs, cameras, phones, etc) are a funny thing. You buy one, thinking it's the best thing since sliced bread, show it to your friends proudly, use it in public and you're generally very excited about owning whatever it is you ...
Pros: Very sharp lens, plenty of modes and control features, big LCD screen, fast write speed. Cons: Low light photos w/o flash REQUIRE A TRIPOD, results are usually very grainy.
We picked up the DMC TZ3 during a Black Friday sale at Circuit City 2007, so we've put it through its paces since then. We replaced a Nikon Coolpix 3500 due to slow write speed and unsharp lens. The Panasonic is packed with many great control ...
Pros: chargeable battery, multiple picture settings, Great Zoom Cons: Cant set your own shutter speed, sort of heavy
I got this camera last year as a graduation present. This was my first nice camera. I am super glad it was because I love it!!! No matter where I take it, I always get great pictures.PICTURE QUALITYThere are a few places that are usually ...
Pros: Size, weight, screen size and cute sounds Cons: Blurry, pixelated, grainy photos in every mode
After almost three months of trying different settings and running through the inept users guide countless times, I've decided that this camera is crap. I'm not a pro photographer, just a regular user, but I know bad photos when I see them. This thing wouldn't even take good pictures in Auto mode. I can't get a clear picture to save my life. Whether it's blurry, or seemingly in focus, each photo, whether indoors or out, comes out so grainy and pixelated (it's supposed to be 7.2 megapixel!) that it's not worth saving.
I bought this camera to go to Alaska with and am lucky enough to have time to return it and get a Canon before I go.
