This is one good bike. Kona was a no name when I went into the store looking for a new bike. I tried it out, compared it to a few Schwinns, and thought it was better and was a change from the ordinary (well it is orange after all).

Pros: Good solid Kona construction. Reliable entry-level components. Cons: Fairly cheap Mavic X138 rims.
I'm not a bike expert, but I though this bike was a great investment. Solid construction, smooth gears, reliable braking. Fork is decent, but I'll probably replace it eventually. I haven't had any problems and its a joy to ride.
