Pros: The Hale experience
Cons: Poor beach, ice-bath pools, all-inclusive concept, over priced, two-class guset atmospere

Pros: peaceful, tranquil, great food, luxurious
Cons: check in procedure is slow and the auto-gratuity choice is tacky
Summary: This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Hawaii. The hales are luxurious, and are set in a big compound full of trees and flowers. The pathways to the beach, swimming pools, restaurants, etc are shaded and well lit at night but not too much.

Summary: The fact that people like this place astounds me. The food is mediocre and atmosphere-- lame. It feels like summer camp for adults.
