Pros: Low price, excellent build quality, sound and comfort Cons: Cumbersome to put on
I recently bough a couple of headphones to upgrade both my home headphones and the ones that came with my iPod Nano. I have bought the Sennheiser HD202, mostly for home use and I got the ...
So your iPod earbuds died, and you're looking for replacements that are cheap but sound good. Sound like you? I was in this position awhile ago and decided on the Koss KSC75 as a replacement, based on glowing reviews on several forums. So why are these ...
Pros: Great, clear sound, light/comfortable, very sturdy, cheap. Cons: Decent cord length (4ft), may be too short for some, lower bass.
I used behind the ear $15-20 phones for a while, and recently received a pair of nicer $60 Sennheiser HD497's. Those are awesome, and they made me realize how much of my music I was missing (my favorite music sounds so much different, there's a lot more ...
Pros: Incredible sound for $25 or less Cons: Might make your expensive headphones seem like a waste of money
I recently bought the $25 Koss KSC75s to replace a pair of Sony earbuds I use at work. They have now replaced the $150 headphones I use at home! I have bought (and returned) many, many pairs of headphones but was struck dumb when I plugged in these ...
Pros: Cheap, Excellent Sound, Comfortable Cons: Some may find the clip uncomfortable
I been in the process of trying to find some decent sounding headphones for portable use out of my Ipod. I wanted something cheap, since they will be used outdoors. I ended up with a pair of Koss Ksc-75 and a pair of JVC Marshmallows (separate review ...
Pros: Good build quality.
Excellent bass response.
Sound output is excellent.
Very light headphones. Cons: Cable only 3 feet.
Cumbersome to adjust clips.
Clips snap off too easily.
I have used the KSC50 sport clips for a very long time and when I first saw the KSC75s I felt I needed to buy them, mostly due to the fact that my KSC50's had a near severed cable. Koss continues use of the same excellent driver the KSC35 and KSC50 ...
Pros: Affordable, great sound, perfect cord length, comfortable when on. Cons: Difficult to get the perfect fit.
Why I bought them in the first place...I recently bought a pair of KSC75's in preparation for an overseas trip to Asia. I wanted a "cheap pair" that I wouldn't care about wrecking or losing as opposed to my beloved Sennheiser PX-100's that ...
Pros: Sound Quality, fit. Cons: Let in outside sounds.
Better than expected sound even with the good reviews. I hear things in songs I never heard before. Fit is easy, I just push them flat against my ears and that seems to seal the sound in. Simply a great buy for $20 and www.headphone.com has a great review on them. No issue with the fit as I can put them on easily and do not need to do any adjustments to fit my ears. Jog with them and they let in outside sounds, fit without moving, or creating any static like movement noises my earbuds can make.
good sound & all was there by danzoolo ,Apr 14 '07
Pros: good clean sound, cheap, and fits well Cons: -
these ksc75's were pretty awesome. bass mids & treble were all there and very accurate. nice clear sound and makes all music sound great. there was a nice flow here too. the clips stayed on nicely the entire time & for the most part i was satisfied with this pair.
Pros: Comfort, value/price. Cons: Best bass responce requires a push.
Best 15 bucks I ever spent on headphones. Sound is full and both highs/bass are there. I own a pair audiophile's grade Sennheisers (590), and from sound quality these Koss are not that far for 10% of the price. The worst is that I have to push them to my ears to get the best bass/frequency response. It could be my physical ear layout, I suppose.
Getting these on is a challenge that requires two hands. I hold the clip with one hand while pulling my eart through with the other. But once they are on they are OK. I have less fatigue on my ears than from heavily padded Senn's. I can wear these for 2-3 hrs no problem.
For MP3 these are a great buy. I have a Samsung player, and at 192 kbps the sound detail is not different from Senns. It takes a mastered CD to tell the difference.
Good headphones but very bright! by pauld3563 ,Jul 06 '06
Pros: Good sound if you like a crisp sound.
Affordability Cons: Briteness
They tangle easily
Cumbersome to put on
I heard about these headphones and read the many good reviews on them, so I had to get a pair. I was very impressed with them at first, but after about thirty minutes, my ears were hurting. The sound is so crisp and brite they hurt. I admit that I have sensitive hearing in the high register, but I have never felt discomfort like that from headphones before.
The other thing I noticed about these is the volume is lower than with others. Not a huge problem but obvious. They are very comfortable. I hardly knew I had them on except for the briteness. I like the volume control. A very nice feature.
They get tangled very easily which is annoying and they can be cumbersome to put on.
Many people obviously like these and I understand why. I just can't use them, because of the strong treble.
Pros: excellent price, excellent sound, good bass, good care and theyll last. Cons: like any overear headphone, tends to annoy the back ear after a couple hours.
was voted best about 2 years ago, I decided to buy pair...still have them and are very pleased, they work excellent till this day, good bass and clear sound. Just shows you dont have to pay big prices for good sound.
